Almost too strong, you really gotta give it the ol heave-ho to get it down after installing a pair of these. Used a shovel as a prop rod to hold up the liftgate to install. Good replacement for 20+ year old worn out struts. Seem to hold up well, installed over a year ago.

First replacement on my original owner 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71.They were easy to install and now my tailgate has lift power so I just release it and it lifts on its own.Took less than 10 minutes for removal and install.Definitely would recommend them. Perfect fit!!!

Used these to replace 17 year old rear window glass lift supports on a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali. These were an exact fit. The supplied connectors screw onto the lifts and snap onto the rear glass and the frame, and fit very well. I did not need to worry about trying to save and use the old connectors.Of course, it now takes a little more force to close the rear window since these are new, but that's what it needed! The window now stays fully up when opened. They work very well.Good value, good product. I would buy these again if needed.
