These things have been a life-saver for me as a fly angler.The most common set up I fish with is a 5x tapered leader and 4/5/6x tippet, so these are a perfect fit.I've had other leaders that seemed brittle or that broke easily, but these are very strong and I haven't had any break.They also seem to hold knots really well. Since I switched to these, if/when I break off, it is almost always breaking close to the fly.I've been using them for almost a year and with this price, I don't see myself using a competing product anytime soon.

I am very pleasantly surprised with these SF leaders. Having used these leaders for a couple of trips out I have got to say I’m impressed. They have a very nice turnover and present the fly nicely and in what I would describe as challenging conditions, variable winds coming from all directions and lots of Reeds to contend with. They performed exceptionally well with a full days fishing having to replace only one (wind knot & and eventually a snag seeing it off) compared to the pocket full of nylon leader I normally return with in my back pocket. Well made and worth every penny and save valuable time and so much less frustration. I will continue to use these . Well done SF!

I was hesitant getting these leaders since they're not made in the US or Japan but I couldn't resist the price and I needed them right away. I'm impressed! These aren't half bad. Great for people just getting into fly fishing or don't want to shell out for the big name brands. I definitely wouldn't hesitate using them on panfish or bass in a pond or lake.
