Had to replace one like it that I lost only had it 6 months put a zip tie thru it as I did not have anyplace where I could utilize the velcro.

Each fly put in this patch leaves a hole. Not long into use the holes start to merge causing slots.Also have lost flies because it's easy for the fly to rip out of this material .

This is really good. It allows you to put your flies on it until they dry before you put them back. In the case it’s very easy access system outside of your bag. Definitely glad I bought this.

This works great for drying flies or small lures before putting them away after use but there is one flaw with their design. They have the stiffer Velcro strips on the back that stick to the carpet in my truck and pull the pad off of my bag every time I throw my gear in there. I will probably just buy some Velcro strips and use them to cover and disarm the strips on the pad but it would be nice if the manufacturer did that. The pad itself is foam with lots of room to hook into for drying. The foam is a little soft so be careful and don’t get your drying flies snagged on anything as the hooks would likely tear out of the foam easily. The clip to attach the pad to your bag, collar, etc is plastic so it won’t rust or stain anything and it feels solid enough.

For any fly fisherman nod not only is a good asset to hold any kind of lures handy. Tested on couple instances and I cad say it was a hood buy

This does exactly what it’s supposed to: securely hold flies. I had a much more expensive fly patch. As I replaced flies during the day and put them into the micro-slit foam. By the end of the day half my flies would have fallen out. Sure I’ll need to replace this as the foam gets beaten up, but it’ll be a lot cheaper than replacing my lost flies!
