I usually strive for under 0.0005" of an inch on my 0.0001" graduated mitutoyo dial test indicator, but anything under 0.001" is acceptable. The collect i used claims to have a runout under 0.0002", which after "clocking" in a quality BT40, I can get under 0.0005" on. Not bad if you aren't looking for extreme tolerances.

I bought 1 toolholder in case they were garbage. It came with beautifuly ground outside, collet taper, and threads. Runout is within a tenth. I am pleasantly surprised!
