I have had no problems with this PEX tubing. It is strong and all fittings have worked good.

When I first heard about PEX I was skeptical about using it instead of copper. Boy, was I wrong. If you have a home that is older and has copper piping that tends to spring leaks, PEX is for you. You will save a ton of money-making repairs or replacing copper pipes with PEX and doing it yourself. Very easy to do once you get the hang of it. One plumber visit to fix just one leak can cost $200 to $300 easily. For that amount one can purchase the PEX and fitting to replumb half one's house. There are tons of how to videos online to teach you how. Bottom line, PEX Pipe is a great invention and inexpensive way to fix water leak problems or replumb.

Love these products. We are contractors and it is so nice when you need a small amount that it shows up to the door. Exactly what you would expect

Had a trailer hot water leak. Had to crawl under trailer, cut out old and replaced it with the red water pipe with Shark bite fittings. It isn't extremely flexible so make sure you get the cut right but it worked well and have lots of red leftover for any other issues.

IDK if you were expecting a review about Pex-B : It's pex-b and is 100' long & red. That's not really the point. What I really love is the thought process of this category manager for heading down this road with the wholesaler or SharkBite themselves. For me, this is one of those products which just really hits me in a spot to be able to order with the associative benefits of Prime and the store card.PEX-B as a solution is DIY heaven. All the parts for a reliable, code-compliant whole house & crimped conversion are easy to find & highly available. That right there has never been my experience with big box store inventories for Pex-B nor SharkBite. One critical component is always an empty shelf at the box store. Not conducive to completing a project! Via Amazon, arrival is reliable enough to plan around and I know that, if I've had an gap in planning, I can have an extra part in a day and it will be exactly the right thing vs staring at an empty box store shelf and having to wing it with whatever happens to be there that day. That assurance is enough to get me thinking about doing renovations full time : you can build a business around this supply chain.

I purchased this for new construction. I've used something similar to help someone else out on his new home and decided to give it a try. Most people suggested warming this up to make it easy to work with. Living in Texas, I just left it outside for about an hour and it was easy to use. After that, I just used it and honestly it was still just as easy to use. In fact, it cut more evenly when it hadn't been warmed, and it's not like it turns into hard plastic when it's room temperature. It is, perhaps, awkward to work with, but not difficult.Use right angle connector for the sharp turns, but this pipe does actually eliminate many of the angled connectors needed for the hard plastic/pvc pipes. Now, I probably should have purchased blue for cold water, but I didn't see this being any different than installing all white or black pipe like i usually do (and just label them).

Nice, tight fitting pex tube, coloured red so you can visually see which lines are your hot water lines.
