Great brakes for the money. I'm super happy with them. I bought a cheap set(and I know better, I've been into BMX my whole life) and they were horrible and I sent them back. I bought these and the matching lever set which comes with cables and wire nipples. Very happy!

Great replacement V-brake set up. Brake springs have tension and can be adjusted with more or less tension.

Instructions were lacking for these breaks, so I needed to rely on experience to get them installed, but they work fine after all the minor adjustments.

Install was SO easy. I had been perpetually adjusting the brakes that came installed on my bike, replacement took about the same amount of time, improved performance AND eliminated a mess of brake dust I was always cleaning. Shimano parts are precise and long lasting!

Bought this brake as an upgrade to the rear break that came puree installed on my hybrid bike. Installation was easy, the springs are stout, and it adjusted and centered quickly. I also purchased the front break here on Amazon. Same story. The brake looks good one the bike and does it's job.

One thing I notice about some of less expensive Bike parts is they are big and clunky compared to the good stuff but not necesarry better, and usually not as good. So removing the old to make room for the new was visually much nicer.I am not familiar with V brakes, although quite easy to install, it did take me a bit longer to get them adjusted to being perfect. They now stop quickly. The looks are slim and nice to look at.

I upgraded my bike’s brakes to the Shimano BR-T4000 V-Brakes, and they’ve been absolutely perfect.
