Just bought a used ebike that had the squeakiest worn out back brakes. Replaced them and all is well. Spend the extra money and get the real thing. It might just save your life.

Shimano great pad life in summer time, winter they wear faster , I love resin because they are quite and I ride my Marin alpine E2 in a forest that has a stupid rule about no e-bikes , nice a quiet, the metal pads scream and wine and you can hear them from a mile away
