I had Birkenstock shoes that, after 18 yrs, the rubber sole had come partially unglued from the cork footbed. A local shoe shop had told me they could not be relied. This product was very easy to use and has them back in shape for a few more years of wear.

No issues with this product and love the fact that it has a metal tube and metal pinned cap to keep everything flowing good and keeps the cap from gluing itself shut like most do. Just follow the directs and prep everything goid and you'll have no problems out of this glue.

At first it was great for a few months but my husband tripped going up the stairs at work and his shoe broke again

If you've ever tried to glue back a shoe sole separation, you know it usually will not hold. It's been some time now since the repair and it is still holding nicely.

Primero ordene uno y llego pegado a la caja y pensé que se había roto y pedí que me lo cambiaran y el segundo llegó igual , además cuando pegas el zapato y lo usas se vuelven a despegar

I’ve used Shoe Goo forever, but the tube is huge and anytime indeed it in the future, it always dries up so I end up buying yet another one for a smaller repair. This shoe repair kit is great. It’s a smaller tube - perfect for smaller repairs AND it look it has a built-in applicator as well as a nozzle that prevents it from drying out (only time will tell), but for now, I like how it reseals. The glue is strong as well.

I had my local shoe repair shop reglue my leather shoe sole, it lasted approximately three months. Craftsmanship and pride in work certainly isn't what it used to be, I guess it's true, it's obviously easier to throw away things than to repair it? I utilized this glue and applied the rubber bands and left them sitting until the next day. It's been nearly seven months and they are holding firmly. The rubber bands are absolutely perfect and provide the added strength needed to give the glue time to set up. FYI, use the glue sparingly and immediately clean up any glue that oozes out or you'll have extra work trimming the hardened glue off "Yes, lesson learned" Well worth the money and saved me nearly a hundred dollars to resole a pair of Italian leather shoes.
