HOW TO USE
1. Place the shoe on the sole sheet, use a pen to mark the shape of the shoe sole.
2. Cut the sheet along with the marks.
3. Clean the shoe sole with a dry cloth, sand both surfaces you want to glue until it's a little bit rough to get the best bond.
4. Apply shoe goo to both the shoe sole and the sheet, press hard for a while, and then clamp it with rubber bands or clamps.
5. Wait for 24hrs, and then trim the extra parts of the edges.

I have Hoka shoes. I run about 20 miles a week. After a couple months the side soles of my shoes always get worn down. These patch it up perfectly. Feels like running with brand new shoes

It’s tough to cut through but luckily had the tools to do so. I normally don’t hold on to shoes when they fall apart, but fell in love with my late 90’s Vans. The sole was their only problem. So I became a shoe cobbler and now, 20yrs later, lol, I get to wear these again!! Freaking stoked. Cheers!

I have 4 pairs of wooden sandals that I love but the soles were very soft and disintegrated very quickly. This material was the prefect solution. It is hard to cut, i used a razor knife (with caution) and it got thru it just fine. I cut the material a little bigger the i needed and then trimmed the excess once it was glued in place. I used contact cement, it worked just fine. I wore the sandals all summer and the martial stayed in place and never lifted. If i ever need to redo the soles again (although I doubt it) I would use this material again.

It's getting very difficult to find any sort of shoe repair service, so I offered to try and repair my wife's shoes with this product. This slightly rubbery material seems to be thick and tough enough to last a while. While it's a bit difficult to cut, I managed to do so with a certain model of scissors. The fact that it is rough on one side allows the cement (I used a brand whose initials are S G) to cover more area and increase the likelihood of the repair remaining intact. I cut pieces for both the soles and the heels. My wife is happy, so that's saying something.

I like the quality and grip, But it's not enough for many pairs. It's quite expensive considering this rubber piece would only allow you to fix 2 pairs of shoes :(

I really thought the product was going to be larger. For the price, I don't think I got my monies worth. I should have looked harder for a size description. I will say the quality of the product was very good, just not enough.

Rubber is thick, dense, and durable. The rubber sheet arrived flat without any curling and cutting it is easy with a sharp razor or utility knife. There are two sides to the rubber sheet - one side of the sheet has a slight texture and the other side is smooth. I really like that this rubber is thicker than a lot of others - meaning that my repair will hopefully last longer.

The material is very thick and yet flexible enough for walking shoes. It was easy enough to work with thick scissors and a carpet knife. It is kind of rubbery, but almost more like strong plastic. After wearing it - and I walk a lot! - for several months now I can attest it is durable. But the surface will 'slip' when walking on an incline that is wet. I live in Puerto Rico where we have a lot of wet inclines... and I have to take small steps so as not to slip with these soles. It is a good product but next time I'll look for something with more tread.

I bought this in order to re-sole my favourite pair of Birkenstock sandals. It was perfect. It is thick, tough and flexible enough to conform to the slight contours of the sandal. The key to success is to spend the time doing the surface preparation and using high quality contact cement.

I used it to make half soles for large snip toe cowboy boots. Seems VERY durable, I don't see this breaking down quickly. It is indeed rubber and not a rubber / plastic material like Vibram half soles which are easier to cut.Extremely difficult to cut and trim! It's like trying to cut a car tire. I used Fiskars shears for initial cutting and shaping. A brand new razor couldn't seem to bite in order to trim around the leather sole edges after bonding. I had to use a rotary tool to sand the last bit down, but the end results were worth it. I imagine a belt sander would half worked better/faster. Obviously a cobbler could have done the job faster and cleaner, but I had fun doing it.
