Had a pair of newish sneakers that had holes in the fabric at the heels. My heels slip no matter what I do and the friction is tough on the synthetic fibers. These heel patches would have been perfect for extending the life of the shoes, but the adhesive won’t hold, especially around the edges. I ended up sewing the edge, but I wouldn’t go through that hassle again. It is also unclear if the patches will hold up after having to punch holes in the pleather to affix them.

I firmly believe that there is no such thing as a viable inner adhesive glue patch worth its purpose. I’ve tried numerous types of patches for the back of my fabric lined adidas sneakers. Pulling the heel wide for application, friction rubbing the patch as smooth as possible to increase adhesion, carefully dropping in my foot—and yet after just one use, the patch rolls up and is entirely useless.TL;DR—save your money on false “repair” patches and just buy new shoes. If you’re like me and frequently get holes in your heel, the spot is doomed to begin with and no patch will work. These are bo exception.

The pads gave me a blister and removing them made the hole in my shoe about 30x worse. I should have just lived with the hole.

I have a pair of Travis Scott Air Force 1s, and the heel/achilles area wore out pretty bad. I looked into patches, and found these. It may seem cheaper to use your own fabric, but this product is incredible.The shape works for most situations and can be cut if necessary, and the adhesive is strong and fits tight.I’m planning on fixing more AF1s and similar shoes with these, and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more and keep fixing as I go.Super easy application, clean look and good quality- all for a few bucks!100% recommend for air forces, jordans, etc.

These saved me from having to replace my favorite shoes. The only issue with them after using for a bit is they tend to roll up from the bottom. Adhesion isn't great, but it's good enough. Easy to just roll them back down before putting foot into shoe. They'll work for now, but I don't think these are designed for long-term use.
