This works really well. Was able to glue the sole of my shoe back into place. No issues.

After doing some research on which shoe glue is best for mending sandals this came highly recommended for any and all shoe repairs and is what is used by most professionals. Dudes it actually works and it dries quick and I did not have to wait hours and or overnight for the glue to dry, I simply applied and held pressure for a few minutes and voila all fixed and ready to walk out the door. I went one step further and attached 1 of the little applicators straw looking thing that came with it and ran the glue in the crack along the seem of both sandals so it would hold together better and hopefully not come apart again. I'd rather pay $8 all day long to repair my favorite shoe then go buy new ones. Just repaired the sandal the other day so I really can't say how long it's going to last and if it's truly waterproof, I'm just so happy to have my sandals back.I would suggest wearing some sort of hand protection like rubber gloves when working with this glue. And there is a very minimal odor if any at all.You ain't getting high off of this glue!!!

I bought this for a pair of rubber boots that leaked around the top of the sole where a very slight split was developing. It worked! It comes with a fine long syringe-like applicator which was perfect for this particular situation and the seal was perfect. I have since used it to repair a leather purse, and also a leather wallet-like wrap for my iPhone; in this situation it was glueing leather to a plastic backing and again it worked! It's a small bottle, just a few ounces, but literally a drop of this goes a long way and the applicator is perfect, almost like a syringe needle but flexible. After use, I blow on it to remove any excess glue to keep it clear. You can just use the drip applicator as well, but the long skinny extra applicator is a joy to work with.

Good and strong and much less messy than others I have used. The applicator makes it easy to get it where you need it.

Seemed like it was superglue but worked on cowboy boots

After many years, the sole of my shoe separated from the upper. SAPBOND has received good reviews so I decided to give it a try. It seems to be a type of superglue (cyanoacrylic). The glue can be squeezed into very small spaces with the attachment, so you can get enough of it where it needs to go without creating a mess. It sets really quickly once you push the two sides together, but doesn't seem to set too soon. I was a bit surprised at it is quite hard and inflexible (I was expecting a tough but slightly flexible bond), but it has worked for the past 3+ weeks, and the shoe that needed repair is only trace stiffer than the original.
