This works great for my 5 gal tank. As soon as the first few pellets start falling, the area is swarmed with my lil skrimps. The tubing works to guide the food down to where its supposed to go. I used to have a problem with my betta grabbing the shrimp food before it could sink, but no more!

Love love love the bowl because I can watch the shrimp eat the tube that goes above the water I was not able to use because my lid would not fit on afterwards however it is a cute bowl and if your little will fit on the tube works nice. I love it without the tube. It works just fine. I would definitely recommend.

The shrimp love this feeder. As soon as they see me put foodin the tube they jump right into the little feeding cup.Really interesting to watch.

Tube is way too short, if it were 6" more would be perfect, other wise complete waste of money.

Nice design, works great for feeding shrimp. I did not give 5 stars because (at least on the one I received) the attachment for the dish is a little too short so that the dish is pushed out at a slight angle rather than sitting flush with the wall. Perhaps just a minor manufacturing flaw, still works well and food dropped in the tube lands in the middle of the dish. My cherry shrimp push and shove to be in the middle when I drop shrimp pellets into the dish.
