It was easy to install, works and sounds excellent. I can now play my old album collection - I have about 300 to play.

This replacement Tonar stylus slipped smoothly into and works well in my Shure Cartridge. The sound is every bit as good as the original. The actual part number I received listed on the invoice is SKU 660-DE; Product details - Shure N75ED Type 2 Stylus - an EVGame Product #PM3127DE.However, the box it came in was marked "Diamond Stylus (tonar) 520-DE - Elliptical" with a notation of N75ED/2.So... I don't know if the markings are all correct, but I'd say it's a good cross over.

Let's be honest, this is not an audiophile-tier stylus but it gets the job done. Used it to replace an old "Shure 8X" stylus on a turntable I'm flipping. Set the VTF (2 grams according to the label), aligned it properly, and I think it sounds great for the price. It's not very high-output so gotta crank up the volume. Bass is not as deep or punchy compared to a Shure N44G, but it does put out decently clean sound overall.Other notes: This is not manufactured by Shure, they discontinued it a long time ago...all you will find is reproductions such as this one. Mine says "Manufactured in Switzerland by Pfanstiehl Corp." I have no idea what the "An EVGame Product" in the Amazon item description is supposed to mean.Overall, if you have a cartridge that uses this old discontinued stylus I recommend upgrading to something modern such as the M97 if you want to stick with Shure. But if you don't want to spend much money to start playing some music again, this will do the trick.

Thanks to this, I got my parents' old turntable (a Radio Shack Realistic Lab 390) up and running after my niece and/or nephew bent the original needle somehow. There's nothing like the sound of vinyl!

Stylus worked well, mine was brown in color. The sound was okay, nothing great but the records could have been at fault. If you really want high quality sound, drop the money on something nicer, but this is well worth the money. It was not Shure brand.

Worked perfectly as a replacement for the old stylus on my Realistic LAB-395. Improvement in sound is like night and day. Very easy installation. Do yourself and your music a favor and get a new needle.

It did not meet my expectations even when I contacted the seller about if it would work in the cartridge that I have,

Would I rather have an NOS stylus for my vintage Shure cartridge? Absolutely. Is this the most highly regarded aftermarket stylus? No, but I'm completely satisfied with it. Especially at the price. You can motor around the interweb and find a litany of non-professional opinions of Pfanstiehl styli(which is what I got, YMMV), but at the end of the day you're splitting hairs on a mink farm and I can guarantee that this stylus will not be the "weak link" in your "hi-fi" set-up.My gear colors my music. This is a fact and I know it. This stylus, on my gear, has made my music sound better to me. That's all I can say, except that it fits my cartridge perfectly and works as it should.
