I love mic switches as a performer. I hate mic switches as a sound engineer but got this based on reviews. I was pleased to use it on a gig my band played last month and keep it in my bass case. Quality and performance were as expected with this mic module and was pleased overall. And the price was a big plus.

Had a PG 48, was told to get a SM58 and decided I do what I want. Glad I did. Paid less and I think it sounds as good if not better than the SM58. My vocals come through the mix clean and clear everywhere we play. No matter what kind of PA is being used the house engineers almost always come and compliment me on this mic. Best one I've had in a while...

This thing is built like a tank and performs well for the price. Just like it's more expensive cousin (the SM58), it is solidly made. Spoken word is crisp and clear and if you're using it for that, it's wonderful. For performance vocals, it falls a bit flat but is still a viable cheap option for a durable beater mic. It's not winning any awards for frequency response, but at this price point, I would not expect it to. Signal strength is a little low, but within the ballpark of other dynamic mics I have. Overall, for a budget microphone that will last on the road, this is a great option for the price.
