This side mount toolbox is made of aluminum with a 5 bar textured surface and it has a high gloss black paint finish. There is a perimeter seal around the lid to keep water out. The large paddle latch is lockable and it is made of stainless steel. The lid has dual gas struts to keep it open so you can organize your items.

Well, quality wise, this is good box. Well made, lock and shock works good. Thick walls enough to be sturdy.But....the price....there is absolutely no justification for this to have price of 250 plus tax.

Boxes fit truck, but on one box where the hinge was mounted there's a dent in the box. Overall construction of one box is good, the other is off. It's mounted on truck now so I can not replace it. It was a lot of work for the average person to mount.

This was such a lifesaver. I got this for my Husbands field truck. It is just the right size for everyday use. It fits right on the side of our old truck and stays in place even as he bounces through the fields. It has 2 layers for tools and fits most everything you need. It does have a lock if you need to keep things secured and also fastens to the side of the truck bed. It is smaller than the usual ones but really does the job for us. I gave this 5 Stars. This is an affordable option for tools on the go. Highly recommend.

I purchased 2 at the same time in one order for 1 truck cause it has 2 sides and the have different key. Not to mention they fill with dust and dirt. Price is to high for lazy attinion to detail.

Decent design but the materials are mediocre. The diamond plate is purely cosmetic and adds no structural strength to the aluminum.

Great buy for the money. I had to use hanging strut to mount them since but w.e. they look great and I have no complaints.I also bought the matching middle box to go with the side boxes and I like that the keys have numbers on them that are also on the lock they go to on the box so you know which key is which.
