The scope is alright. The reticle works ok when milling out targets or giving holds and corrections. The glass does not compare to higher quality optics like leupold but for the fraction of the price, it’s ok for a starter scope.Update: 1/14/25Have had this spotting scope for over a year and it’s holding strong! I have used it consistently at unknown distance ranges and two rifle marksmanship courses. Like I mentioned before, I was able to spot adequately and provide proper holds for the shooter. Mid December I spotted for a 308 Win at 1,000 yards and it did a great job. If you don’t have the money for a nice Leupold spotting scope and you’re shooting within 1,000 yards I can honestly say that in my experience this scope did great! My next goal is a mile. I’ll post an update once I do.

The spotting scope appears to be as advertised, but it did not include the table top tripod that it says is included in the box. It only has the scope, fabric scope cover, and a cleaning cloth. Inaccurate description and the only option that Amazon offers is a replacement or a refund. I just want the tripod that I originally paid for.

I got a refurb. It looks brand new to me. But pulling the cover off of the eyepiece pulled the entire assembly out. Cheap ass design. If you can afford better, get better.

It's nice even nicer once I got used to using it . clear the ret is a nice tough I was a little let down hopping I could spot more than i could with my 5x50x56 34mm rifle scope I wanted to see the shots of a 224 at 600 yards on paper and neither the scope or the spotter could they are clear enough just no where near powerful enough . its ok neither could a 3 thousand dollar spotting scope with the shade and wind I could already see hits on steel plates clear enough . the spotter is just a little brighter than the scope and I guess it should be with the 80mm objective . It's a nice buy for a spotting scope .

The most impressive thing about this unit isn't necessarily the great setup, but the customer service that blows the competition away. I can't remember when a group of folks went the extra miles that these folks go to make everything perfect and then some.

Great for the range and calling out correction to your shooter. Mil/mil compatible and the quality of glass is outstanding. By far worth the money.

I bought this because it was oddly hundreds cheaper than the "tactical" version, even though the descriptions for the two are the exact same. Unfortunately when the item arrived and I was able to try it out, there was no reticle. Otherwise it appears to be a solid scope. It's very large, heavy and feels solidly built. Both rails on the top and bottom appear to have threaded sockets for mounting to a tripod. The picture was pretty impressive for the price point - easily as good as thousand-dollar glass I've seen with other spotting scopes. It's just too bad it doesn't have the reticle, that was the main feature I wanted
