didn't research this card as it is SIIG and I haven't had to worry about usb issues now in 10 years. Upon installing the card does register at boot, but then in linux it doesnt load the drivers. considering how mature usb 3.0 is I expected support in the Debian 12 kernel. If your in windows this card works fine. if your using any stable linux distro avoid this.

This is very misleading because there are two products listed here. Reviews and questions are combined, making it confusing to understand that this does not come with the full-height bracket. I gave this one star because it wastes my time and money and causes additional downtime for my server, and now I need to deal with a return and ordering another product.

If your computer has a full tower case, then be aware that this 4-Port USB does not include the full profile bracket. Installation is simple and pretty much plug n play. It is fast with each port having a dedicated processor to provide maximum throughput. I give 3-stars because the card is currently installed without the bracket for the time being until I get the full profile bracket.

This is an excellent product that I highly recommend to anyone in need of additional USB ports for their computer.Firstly, the installation process was quick and easy. The card fits easily into any PCIe slot and the drivers install automatically upon connecting to the internet. I had no issues with compatibility or connectivity.The speed of the USB 3.0 ports is also fantastic. With transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps, I am able to transfer large files quickly and efficiently. This is a great feature for those who frequently work with high-resolution images or videos.Another thing I appreciate about this product is the design. The card itself is compact and does not take up much space inside the computer. The ports are also conveniently placed for easy access.Overall, the SIIG 4 port USB 3.0 PCIe card with 5Gbps channels is an excellent product that I highly recommend. It is easy to install, provides fast transfer speeds, and has a compact design. If you are in need of additional USB ports, this is definitely the card to get.

I was mislead by some of the reviews and answered questions on this product page. If you search for "full height" you will find questions and answers indicating that the product comes with both a half height and full height IO bracket. However, because there are two products on this product page, the questions and reviews are intermingled. As a result, it's very easy to believe that both products come with both full and half height IO brackets.JU-P40811-S1: ONLY the half height bracket is included with the 4 port 20Gbps model.JU-P40A11-S1: Both a full height bracket and a half height bracket are included with the 4 port 5Gbps model.
