I purchased a new desktop pc, and like all new desktops nowadays, there wasn't enough USB 3 ports for all of my extra plug in items. Not wanting to have hubs all over my desk, I decided to install this card. It slotted straight in, switched on and was instantly detected and working! 4 new USB ports, 5 minutes labour and months later, still working perfectly. What else can I say!...Recommended product!

Be sure to use the installation disc that comes with the hub. I didn't when I first installed it and, although it worked, it didn't work as well. I went back and ran the installation disc and everything works fine now.

Added to rear slot on computer after lightning storm took out USB chip on the motherboard. Works great. Cheap fix to a disaster.

The board installed easily and worked immediately. The speed compared to USB 2.0 is incredible. To me it was worth the price after the first use because of the time it saved.
