It will work sporadically which you have to reset it and than it just doesn't work after awhile. I called about warranty or support with no help. once your return policy is up they are done as they know you cant do anything about it.

I am a professional home audio/video installer with many years experience.. I decided to purchase this hdmi extender as a test study to see if some of these AMAZON sold hdmi extenders work well for the price sold..Well I can tell you that this one failed miserably.. I had to set the APPLETV to a resolution of 1080P in order to get the video to work properly and did a test on the ARC to work with a denon home theater receiver and that failed as well.. I went about installing our usual brand called wyrestorm and 4k and arc work just fine..so BEWARE when purchasing this product for 4K and ARC.... BECAUSE IF A PRO CANT GET IT TO WORK I PITY THE NOVICE...

Seems to work ok as an HDMI extender, but does not pass-through CEC - I'll be returning mine.

The device didn't work as advertised. The only way to contact tech support is by e-mail, which takes several hours for a response. I'm not saying the device was defective, a may have connected it wrong(though I've installed several by different manufacturers). But when I'm on a customer site several hours for an answer from support just don't cut it.

I was hesitant at first but it works in my application. I wanted to display a TV box and be able to control it from any of the TVs. I have only run to one point at this time but I will be adding around 5 more points to this system. If anything changes I will update. I landed each cable on a patch panel on my in home rack so I can move the box around in the future if needed. I wish they had a bulk purchase for the receivers though. I'd recommend this to anyone trying to replicate an image or be cheap on the iptv boxes
