I am excited to use this book! As a machine knitter, I have been described as an "enthusiastic beginner" by friends. My sewing experience comes from school home economics...all that said, I have a knit radar and a knit leader both of these are meant to be used in conjunction with this book. There are no instructions for the knitting or making up your garment, no math for increasing it decreasing as you are using the visuals in the radar or leader. It's my hope to design my own patterns/garmemts for my spouse and me, to actually fit and flatter our measurements. I can't wait to get going!
