I had issues with my feed dogs "eating" my fabric. After watching some videos to trouble shoot, one presenter cautioned that only size 9 needles should be used for quilt making as they have a point that won't push the fabric into the feed dogs. I skeptically gave it a try and have only had the issue twice versus 20 or 30 times over the course of making one quilt with standard needle. They also have a colored mark on them to differentiate them from your other needles.

As I have a singer machine, I prefer to use singer attachments and needles as I find that I get better results.

These needles are nice and sturdy and they stay sharp for a long while. I love that they come in a plastic case which is easy to store and find.

Purchased a pack of these to complete a quilt project. No breakage, needles worked perfectly during the quilting process as well as sewing the bias on the edges of quilt. Will not need to purchase again for a while, but will definitely buy more when needed.
