Good stiff thimble big enough to fit any of my sausage fingers, but not my thumb. Not as good as a sailor's palm. The pliable vinyl(?) component affords some grip. Two sizes, second one is smaller than above.

Don't be fooled by what is in the picture. Supposed to be two thimbles. Large and xlarge. I only received the large one.

I love these! They come in great colors, one for my daughter and for me, and they're sturdy. They last forever! The color makes it easier to find. Would buy them again.

These are great thimbles for quilters. I esp. like to use them while I am basting and stitching my bindings. Very comfortable. Highly recommend.

I have a fat middle finger and the thimbles I have either cut off the circulation or fall off my finger. These thimbles actually fit. The smaller blue one fits the best, but both will work better than the smaller ones.

These thimbles are for persons whose finger tips don't fit into some of the thimbles that are included in sewing kits, often those are too small and unusable. These are larger and made of metal instead of plastic. They are listed as size L/XL, but for me the XL fit better. You may find that an even larger size might possibly be needed for you.

If you have slender, tapered fingers, these might be good thimbles for you. They don't fit my stubby fingers at all. The smaller, blue one seems to be ok, but the larger, purple one has thick, slightly sharp ridges on the inside that are not comfortable at all. Probably ok for small projects, but wouldn't want to use it for very long.

These thimbles work great. They came two in a package, large and XL. They're weighty enough not to slip and large enough not to pinch. The XL one actually fits over my thumb. They're pretty colors, not terribly overpriced and USEFUL. I found myself doing more mending and repair, trying to get a little more time from our clothes. I decided to splurge, to purchase an actual real, good quality thimble to save my fingers from those wicked needle pokes. I didn't realize how much more quickly I would be able to sew with equipment that does what it should instead of making do with the cheap leftovers from old sets and kits. The stuff you toss into your mending basket just in case. These were worth the price.
