Exactly what we were looking for! My husband and I tried 3 other brands similar to this but none were strong enough to cut through two layers of plastic. This little guy did it with ease and didn't hurt my hands!

I had originally ordered this so that I can add papers printed from the computer to my 3 ring notebook from my Bible class. But the class got cancelled so I haven't really used it at all. I tested it on a piece of paper and the punch quality is good. I didnt have any issues and it was easy to use. It is lightweight but I do feel like it could be a lot smaller. But I am still able to fit in my pencil bag and carry it around with me.

This hole puncher is a total game changer for paper crafting! It punches through both thin plastic and paper with ease. The catch release feature is fantastic, as it opens the punch wide for quick and easy loading, saving you both time and effort. The tool is durable and does a great job, and it even comes with 10 binder rings for added convenience. While it’s a bit pricier than other models, the labor-saving feature and solid performance make it a great investment for anyone who needs a reliable, efficient hole puncher.

I ordered this product to punch holes in product manuals so I can hang and display laminated manuals beside various pieces of equipment throughout my home, from water heaters to smart sprinkler systems. It is just too easy to lose manuals and its a pain looking them up online. My first manual I punched was about a 50 page manual for a tankless water heater. the first punch did not clear all of the pages, but 2 punches and the job was done. the little pieces of cut out paper were transferred neatly into a catch that can be emptied when filled (likely holds cut-outs from hundreds of sheets of paper). It did the job and didnt feel cheap quality. Altogether, I have no problem recommending it.

Great at hole punching! To unlock/lock the punch press the silver bolt with the c washer thing on it. It can stick a little the first time but after that it was no problem. Like others I do wish there was some kind of alignment helper since it is hard to tell exactly where the punching part it. That and the rings being a little tough to open and close us the only reason I removed a star. I used a silver sharpie to draw cross lines on the puncher and that helped a lot. But the actual punching was easy and comfortable!

This is a review of Cgerma Single Hole Punch, 1/4" Hole, Heavy Duty Paper Hole Puncher, 30 Sheet Capacity, 60% Labor Savings for Paper Crafts, with 10 Pcs Binder Rings, BlackThis hole punch is so much better than my little hand-held punch. My old punch worked fine for single sheets of paper, but I have been needing to punch cardstock, cardboard, and plastic sheets. My old punch wasn’t working so well. My hands would get sore. This punch is so much easier. Not only is the punch part sharper, but since the device sits on the table I can lean my body weight into it if necessary. Punched circles collect in an easily-removeable plastic piece at the bottom of the device. The device can lock shut. I’ve noticed that in my zeal to punch holes, I sometimes accidentally push the lever that locks the device, so I usually use a paperclip to block the lever from locking. I would have liked if there were an easy way to line up where the hole will be punched in the paper. I’m planning to add a piece of colored tape (or a line of paint) on the side of the device to help me align the punch. This is a really fine punch.

This single hole punch is all metal and it is truly heavy duty. It makes easy work of hole punching multiple paper copies, I hole punched several pages of card stock at once, with no stress or strain to my hand or arm and the holes were all cleanly punched with perfect smooth edges. Also, just an FYI in case you might want to try using this hole punch to punch holes in fabric (as I was hoping to use it for), it didn't initially work out well when i just tried to punch the hole directly into the fabric (cotton, calico-type fabric) but when I added two layers of standard copier paper to the top and bottom of the fabric, and then punched with the fabric facing up, it turned out pretty well - not perfect edges like the paper punched holes, but very acceptable for my crafting purposes. After punching, there is a little fabric cleanup needed on the reverse side of the fabric (just a couple of snips, you'll need fine-point scissors) and then apply anti-fray if you choose to (I did). I was pleased with the result and it was SO much easier than trying to cut out such tiny circles in fabric.
