I like the built-in quick release, but there's way too many adjustments to make it a fast item to use. Too many degrees of freedom. Also, the panning is so stiff, that the tripod is likely to shift. Unfortunately, I waited too long to return and am stuck with it.

This pan only head is useful for specific setups that don’t require tilting.The panning movement is smooth considering the small size of this head.The quick release mechanism feels solid enough to trust most mirrorless cameras with standard zooms. It’s a custom quick release system as far as I can tell so if you use another quick release system it may add some height.The tripod has excellent build quality.
