This is another high quality hand tool set from SK. The picks are very well made of high quality steel, and the handle is really comfortable to hold. The picks are small yet extremely useful in tight places. These picks can be utilized by a wide range of specialists, such as mechanics, electricians, technicians, DIYers, and others. The tips are fine on all of my picks. The set came in a thin plastic holder inside a cardboard box, which I already got rid of. I would have loved to see a case that could hold all of the picks in one place.

Picks are tools that when you need one, nothing else will do. And when you have a great set like this one you are actively looking for task that need a pick to tackle just so you can use them.This set comes in a nice plastic tray that is great for storage in the ol tool box or cupboard.The picks themselves appear to be well made and the tips are ground with precision, no ugly going on with these. The handles are that attractive SK green that we have all been familiar with over the years. The handles fit the hand well and the overall length of the picks is just right for ninety nine percent of task that picks are needed for.I am pleased with the overall quality of the build and seventeen bucks seems a small price to pay for quality tools these days. As a DIYer, I don't ned a hook and pick set very often, but when I do, it's nice to have a quality set and this SK 4-piece Hook and Pick Set is the perfect combination of quality and value.I already owned a similar set that I got for free with a coupon at a local tool store. While they did work, anything other than a light duty task would cause the tips or the entire shaft to bend. These SK picks are much heavier duty and should stand up to more abuse.In the box are 4 picks, 90 degree, bent, offset and straight. They sit in a plastic holder which is a nice way to store them in a tool box, since they won't get mixed up with other tools. The plastic handles have a nice rubber over-molding and have a nice feel in your hand. The tips are much thicker than the set I have now but I would still consider this set for medium duty use.My only complaint is that these did not come in a more substantial case so I could throw them in my tool tote if needed but most of these pick sets son't have cases so I did not take off any stars for that.There are certainly less expensive pick and hook sets available but SK is a brand I know and and think the quality of this set is worth the few extra dollars.

The SK Tools pick set gets the job done, but it’s nothing to write home about. The picks feel a bit flimsy, and the grip isn’t as comfortable or durable as I’d hoped. They’re fine for light use, but I wouldn’t rely on them for tougher jobs.If you’re looking for something inexpensive for occasional use, these will work. However, if you need a high-quality set for frequent or heavy-duty tasks, I’d recommend spending a bit more for something sturdier. Decent, but not great.
