Purchased these shocks after watching the videos that Skyjacker has on their web site. I highly recommend that anyone looking to purchase this type of shock watch their videos so that they can make an informed purchase decision. My 1993 F150 was factory equipped with gas charged shocks, it is a 4x4 with a 2 inch lift. The Skyjacker replacements were a little more effort to install than I am used to, however, I am very happy that I purchased this brand. They carry very heavy loads well and they make for a smooth ride, even heavily loaded. Would recommend this shock to anyone driving a pickup.

I finally got a chance to install my new shocks this past weekend..... But due to them being too long, that didn't work. I utilized the guide on the site, but they aren't even close. And of course the return window has closed.

Working great, it took me a while before I had time to install them on my F250, but way better ride that before. The set of shocks I took off were shot & too rusted up to identify what brand they where. When removing the old passengers side shock, I snapped the piston on it, I did have to give it a few good wacks with a sledgehammer, then had to still pry it off. The great part was the install of the Skyjackers, IT WAS A BREEZE, I used silicone grease on the bushings & everything slid into place. Tighten down the nuts & was ready to rock.
