Can’t believe that I saved over $1,000 buying this charger! So called experts said I needed to upgrade my garage outlet to 240 volts and a level 2 charger. Instead bought this charger for less than $200. And I got a full 16 amp charging rate completing a full charge overnight. Achieved range averaging 34-37 miles, while my BMW hybrid was rated at 31. Some charging resulted in 39 miles of range. Only installation was attaching the plug and charger to the wall. Had a technical question and they responded quickly with a very competent, patient, and helpful customer service representative. Great product! Very reasonable price.

I need to leave a review cuz I bought this in July 2020 (four years ago) and this charger still works perfectly!Background: I own a Nissan Leaf 2015. I drive 50 miles daily for work and because of the range of this car, I have to charge it overnight almost every day.Charging condition: I live in New York, and I don't live in a place with a garage, I just plug the charger inside and leave a small gap in the window for the cord. The rest is always exposed to the outdoors without any issues. I've changed my car in the rain, storm, and snow season - without issues at all.Automatically stops charging when the car is fully charged: I've left the charger plugged into the car when I'm away for weeks, there's only a couple percentage of battery leaks because it stopped charging once the car is fully charged. Fair enough.

Used this for over a month now, it is not fast by any stretch of the imagination. However, if you don't have a 220V outlet, then this works for evening+overnight charging. It's definitely better than nothing at all our if you don't drive too much. The key is that it charges as fast as some of the more expensive level 1 chargers and is MUCH less expensive the three ones the manufacturer tries to sell.

The charger is well-built and sturdy with a beefy power cable. The design is light and feels like it is quality construction especially the handle. The overall LED and display is simple and clean, providing the right information. I looked across a LOT of the EV chargers and this one looked the best. While I had an issue with mine, Support was super responsive on the first request and follow-ups. This is really important. All of them can have issues. What differentiates the product and company is how quickly they address the issue. Very satisfied!!

My prior plug-in electric vehicle charging cord had stop working, so I needed a replacement. This unit pleasantly surprised me with how well-constructed and durable it is. There is a good main cord, fifteen feet in length, with heavy duty plug. The main charger plug-in is also serious, with a push button release. There is also a unit close to the house circuit plug in, that gives a series of status lights, one for power to the charging unit, one for the charging function, one for ac output and one is a default warning light. The package comes with a heavy duty fabric carrying case that makes this easy to take along in the vehicle. I am very happy with this unit.

Llevamos 15 días usando el producto y ha funcionado bien para un BMW 330e híbrido carga completa en 4 horas una vez al día por que el vehículo se usa solo para el traslado al trabajo en la ciudad (CDMX) se recomienda una línea de luz solo para eso ya que si se usa por ejemplo el microondas deja de cargar y hay que desenchufar y volver a conectar hasta ahorita 12 enero 22 estamos satisfechos

The charger that was sold to us with our 2016 Leaf broke after a couple months of use. The same dealer tried to sell us a new charger that would have cost over three times this one did.We looked around and this one seemed too good to be true, but so far, it has worked out great. Very happy with this product.

Nice storage bag, overall quality charging kit and a good replacement to the factory - but it got stuck on day 2. the release clip would not unlatch. it was like trying to pull off duct tape on mental. PLEASE consider that annoying factor when you order this. I took me 5 minutes to figure what was wrong, using a screwdriver to release it and my hand to pull it off, all while someone held a flashlight at the spot - it finally unlocked

I purchased this charger after the original 110 volt charger that came with my 2017 Volt died. The Megear Level 1 charger worked well for a few months, but then stopped working. I contacted Megear, and got a same-day response from Charlotte in Customer Service. She was very efficient and told me the unit was covered under warranty, I just had to provide my Amazon order number and provide her with a brief video of the problem. After I provided that info, Charlotte again responded very quickly and let me know that a new charger was on the way. It arrived in a few days and is working well. I wouldn't hesitate to get another Megear product, knowing that they are responsive and stand behind their warranty. In addition, Charlotte was a pleasure to deal with.

I got a Level 1 EV Charger from Volvo when I purchased my T8 and keep that one at home. I wanted to keep one in the SUV as a fall back in case I have no access to a Level 2 charge when out and about. Volvo dealership quotes me a price of over $700cdn for a Level 1. Saw this on Amazon and gave it a try. Delivery came on time as noted. The Zencar charger is better than the Volvo one. Thicker cable, stronger and more sturdy housing that plugs into the EV plug in my car. This charge cable does have a faster charge time than my OEM cable, but not by 25%, my experience is about 10%. Bonus carry case keeps the charger neat and tidy when not in use.This is an exceptional pricevalue charger.
