Have you searched for a quality sleeping bag liner but don’t want to spend tons of money? Are you needing something for lightweight summer sleeping in the woods? Do you need to add just a little extra warmth to your current bag? I was pleasantly surprised with this brand and will buy again. It is sort of cumbersome to get in and out of, as there is no zipper, but I’ll take that to save on the weight for backpacking. I consider this a win.

I haven't bothered with liners in the past because I needed to save weight on long bike rides. Now that I can afford a more expensive, lighter weight sleeping bag, I figured it's worth a second look. I didn't just grab the first thing. I'm ashamed to say this is only the first item I've purchased from Outdoor Vitals, but I am aware that they make great gear. This is in fact a great item, as advertised. The stitching is flawless. The design seems to be well thought out. The fabric is better than I hoped, soft and smooth, but not too smooth and not sticky. To test, there was a resistance when I put my mouth up to breathe through it and only felt a warmth but not a puff of wind. It is breathable but some heat retention is happening. I bought it more to protect my bag and I'm sure it will do a great job of blocking out sweat, dirt and oils. I've added a photo of light from inside the bag to give a small idea of the fabric. Not the best photo but something I'd love to see from reviewers and makers when shopping around. The fit is also much better than I expected. There is room to move, but not so much to cause tangling. I thought I might have to sew on a zipper, but there's no need. I got right into it like it was a funnel. I'm able to pull my arm out, zip up the sleeping bag and fit right back in. I'm especially glad for this because it is light weight and packs right down, so its easy to pack without concern. Should have bought this sooner!

Funktioniert, Materialoberfläche ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, Kissenfach wäre gut

I have the Thermal Reactor from Sea to Summit but I was looking for something super lightweight. This is half the weight and much more compact, and although not as warm it is incredibly comfortable. Living in Tahoe I have not had the opportunity yet to take this out cowboy camping, but the plan for the summer season is to utilize this with a tarp and be cozy under the stars. Amazing product!

Feels nice, fits my sleeping bag well, but it feels way to constricting. It needs a side opening down to waist. Maybe with a lightweight zipper or a few snaps... I'm going ro modify mine to see if I can make it usable, otherwise this isn't the one.

Pros:-cheap compared to other liners-thin/lightweight, while it would add a few degrees to your sleeping bag I bought this for the purpose of keeping my bag clean. I find it comfortable temperature wise and didn't feel clammy inside.Cons:-doesn't open up more, if they had it open more along the sides it would be easier to climb into especially if you're putting it inside a sleeping bag. Bit awkward-bit tight, wish they added a couples of inches to the width as I find it to be a bit tight in the feet, and torso. (I use it inside my mummy bag and was confined to a smaller space since it doesn't stretch-seams can be felt with bare feet which isn't too big of a deal just a personal annoyance. However overall a good deal considering the price at $20. One tip I would give is for those looking for more room is to use the rectangular version (if it's for sale, couldn't find it) and use that in your mummy bag.

I do long distance motorcycle rides and am often one week in very hot weather, the next in cold temps. This liner works great in conjunction with my 20 degree (F) mummy bag. On a motorcycle it's important how much space gear takes up and this bag is tiny when in its bag and weighs virtually nothing. I recently rode from central Florida to Devils Tower in Wyoming and cam back via the Rockies before turning southeast and homeward. For most of the trip I had no need for the sleeping bag and used just the liner; it was perfect for the weather I was in. Then in the Rockies I camped at over 9,000 feet and had quite chilly weather at night, where the bag and liner together were perfect, providing warmth without me having to wear any of my clothing in the bags. This liner has been a great addition to my kit.

Great liner, I used it while camping to keep my sleeping bag clean. It worked well, light weight, easy to compress and pack. I'm not sure if it added much warmth but my primary goal was to keep the sleeping bag clean and it did that. It's also soft and comfortable. Good quality.

Liner is lightweight and compact, as it should be. adds 3 or 4 degrees rating to your bag and also keeps your bag from getting dirty. two things kept this from getting 5 stars from me: the material creates a LOT of static electricity, especially in the winter, so make sure you spray it with an anti static before packing it, and it's a little difficult to wiggle down into this thing, some velcro closures going down halfway would have been tremendous. Over all it's a great liner for the price and I would recommend.
