Excellent fabric playpen for small animals. We got this for our guinea pigs to run in during cage cleaning. This is also where they get their fresh veggies. It's super easy to clean. I just stand it on its side in the shower, spray cleaner all over the inside, then hose it out and let it air dry.

We purchased this as a back up playpen for two puppies, and it didn't last long. It's essentially like those flimsy hampers that unfold and are made of the thinnest materials. The size is nice, but the quality was so poor we ended up not using it. I would only recommend for someone with a gentle, small pet, due to the thin materials that threaten to shred easily.

This works well as a temporary safe space for small animals. My friend and I like to travel, and she always brings her miniature dog. We set this up in the hotel room so that when we go sightseeing, the dog can stay in it. This prevents her from having accidents in the room while we are gone, and keeps her off the beds, so that housecleaning can make the beds. The dog is very docile and shy, so this helps her feel safe. It can be wiped off and cleaned and then folded up and packed into a small bag that can be packed into the luggage. If it's only used occasionally, it should last a while.

Because of prices, I ordered baby chicks to raise for eggs. Because the weather is chilly still, I need to keep them confined indoors under a heat lamp. I needed something to keep them in and this looks like it would fit the bill. It arrived fast! It's decently sized, giving the baby chicks plenty of room. It could be used for other small pets, as well. It's keeping them safe from my kitties.

I let a friend borrow my last one when she was fostering kittens, but she fosters a lot so I told her to keep it. I only kept it because even though mine grew out of it, they still like to play in it, and then I got ball pit balls! This pen is the perfect replacement. Great for keeping kittens or puppies contained, but also fun for them to play in later. Would be great for small pets too, like hamsters and such.

I recently started using the portable pet playpen when I need to do a deep clean of the Guinea Pig Palace. It has been an absolute delight and is working out far better than I had expected! The playpen is a substantial size, offering plenty of space for my guinea pigs to explore and play during their enrichment time. The sturdy construction ensures it holds up well, even when they have the zoomies. One of the standout features is how easily it pops up and folds back down—it’s incredibly convenient for storage and transport. The zipper on the top cover slides smoothly, making it simple to secure my pets inside while still allowing for easy access. The mesh material of the top cover is a fantastic feature, providing excellent airflow to keep my guinea pigs cool and comfortable. This is especially important when I bring them outside in the spring for supervised enrichment time. The mesh also offers great visibility, so I can keep an eye on them at all times. The zippered top cover adds an extra layer of security, ensuring my pets are safe from airborne predators while they enjoy the outdoors. It’s clear that this playpen was designed with both functionality and safety in mind.Overall, this playpen deserves a solid 5-star rating. Its thoughtful design, durability, and ease of use make it an excellent choice for small pet owners. My guinea pigs love having a safe and spacious area to explore, and I appreciate the peace of mind it provides. Whether for indoor or outdoor use, this playpen is a fantastic option for anyone looking to create a secure and enriching environment for their pets (with adequate supervision, of course). It appears to be a truly well-made product.A

This is such a neat little animal enclosure. Does not work very well for chickens though. Once they get big enough to start flying, they like to try to perch on the sides and the sides aren’t strong enough to support them. The bottom is mostly waterproof and will keep runny poop off the floor. Pee will leak through if you don’t get it wiped up quick enough. The first time I opened it, I noticed a metal piece of the frame in the one panel is twisted or bent or something, and the panel sort of droops, but it is still strong enough for puppies and kitties and small critters. The zipper isn’t very good quality, but it works I guess. It’s easy to pop up and collapse. Wipes clean with baby wipe or disinfectant wipe.

This pen is suitable for many uses, but lacks some of the features of similar products. None of the missing features are deal breakers for me, but they may be for you.First off, this is pretty short, not a problem for short animals, and actually it is easier to reach inside to grab your critter. So It is great for cats, rabbits and small dogs, but a taller dog wouldn't do so well.Next, there are no doors. Since I'm using this to keep a kitten contained, that isn't a problem, but there are some opportunities where a door could be nice for the pet to get in and out without going through the roof that zips open.I feel like the material is decent. The mesh is really nice, but the purple fabric is thin and doesn't feel super durable. I think it will do great as a water proof material, but I've seen other playpens with a more heavy duty fabric than this one. This is fantastic as far as portability goes. It folds up really small and is easy to set up. The shorter size and lack of extra zippers and pockets means it can fold up really small and even fit in a back pack or other bag. (it has a carrying case included). If you want this for temporary or short term use, I would recommend it. If you want more bells and whistles, you should probably look elsewhere.
