Your cart is empty.Blind rivets provide a way to join parts together when you don't have access to both sides. They consist of a rivet (a hollow body with a head) and a mandrel (a thin nail with a bulbed end). Rivets require a setting tool for installation. Riveted joints are strong, tight, and extremely reliable. How to install a blind rivet. Insert the rivet through a hole that passes through both materials being joined. Using a rivet tool with the same size nosepiece as the rivet diameter, grip the mandrel and pull the trigger or lever. The tool pulls the mandrel through the rivet, deforming the rivet's body and breaking off the excess mandrel.

These SST rivets work great using my Astro PR-14 pneumatic gun. Consistent grab, consistent shank diameter, easy to bump them into the rear pin reservoir after setting. However each package only contains 97 to 98 rivets! I noticed on the first package (I've bought 6 over the past few weeks) because I'm riveting brackets that take exactly 8 rivets per bracket. After doing 12 brackets, there should have been 4 rivets left, but there were only 2. I looked all around my work area to see whether I had dropped any, but no. After that I kept track of the numbers and sure enough, always 2 or 3 rivets short at the end of the bag. I contacted Amazon customer service and they issued a small refund, which more than covers the cost of 12-15 missing rivets. Kudos to Amazon CS. But you need to know this, just in case you actually need 100 rivets for your project.

I found these stainless rivets to have an attractive polished finish, with consistent pull resistance and grab strength. They went on easily and have held strong. I bought a different brand of stainless rivets on Amazon that were a #4-3 instead of these #4-2, and I'm glad these worked better for my application because they have a much higher-end appearance.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well these worked! I used a pneumatic riveter to install them, it may have been a bit much to use a manual tool to more than just a few. I am a licensed airframe mechanic, so I've used a few rivets! I wouldn't use them on an airplane, but for around the house they're great!

Bought these for assembly of a large amateur radio beam antenna (Bencher Skyhawk). They worked perfectly. Were easy to work with with the right tool and seemed to provide solid hold. The antenna has been up for a number of months now without concern. Very nice stainless rivets.

Product quality seems very good and stated measurements seem accurate, which is important in the application that I am using them for. I have been using it for two months and the rivets are easy to install using my hand rivet guns.
