To weak an iphone in sunlight needs at least an 6 / 9 nd - cause 1 / 5 is way to weak, there for worthless.

When tested on my iPhone this filter creates a massive dark spot at the top center of the image. It is advertised as good with iPhone and wide angle lenses, but it is certainly not. Also I'm now noticing that there aren't any "real" reviews of this product, only Vine reviews. I'm a big Smallrig fan, but this is a bad product, save your money. The filter and magnetic system is great, turns excellent and smooth, easy on and off.

Der Smallrig 67mm ND2-32 ist ein typischer variabler ND-Filter - allerdings mit einer magnetischen Halterung und zusätzlich einem Adapter für Smallrigs Smartphone-Halter. Letztere Funktion habe ich nich getestet, daher ohne Bewertung.Der Filter kommt in einer soliden Plastik-Schachtel, gut gefüttert.Der optische Ersteindruck ist hervorragend.Das Gewinde des Magnetrings ist sauber, auf meinen Lumix S Objektiven schraubt es sich ohne Klemmen oder Quitschen auf - und genau so problemlos wieder herunter. Und das ist - leider - etwas, dass ich nach vielen gegenteiligen Erfahrungen als besonders erwähnenswert sehe.Die optische Qualität ist einwandfrei, ich konnte bislang keine X-Bildung erkennen, der Filter erzeugt keine chromatischen Aberationen und auch keine Farbverschiebungen oder Stiche. Sicher, der Kontrast wird etwas gesenkt, aber das ist für ND-Filter dieser Bauart und Vergütung völlig normal. Wer das vermeiden will, der muss leider sehr viel tiefer in die Tasche greifen.Fazit: für einen Schraub-ND-Filter im typischen Video-Anwendungsbereich hervorragend zu verwenden. Meine Empfehlung: für den größten Objektivdurchmesser im Bestand kaufen - und dann mit Step-Down-Ringen auf den anderen Gläsern verwenden. Das spart nicht nur kosten, es sorgt vor allem für konsistente Ergebnisse.Von mir eine volle Kaufempfehlung.

This filter is great because you can use it on your 67mm camera lenses or on one of the compatible smallrig phone cages. I have the 4392 model and it the filter works beautifully. It is well made with high quality materials and fits like a glove on the phone cage. The filter snaps on magnetically which makes it very easy to use. It really enhances my iPhone photos and videos by cutting down on glare and adding soft cinematic effects. It is a little more expensive that other filters I've seen, but being able to use with both your phone and camera is a bonus, as well as the quality of the build. I would recommend this to a friend.

Die Marke SmallRig ist sicherlich den allermeisten Fotofans von diversem Zubehör bekannt. Daher war ich sehr gespannt, den magnetischen variablen ND-Filter der Marke testen zu können.Ich habe das Kit mit 67mm Durchmesser erhalten und mit meiner 47MP-Vollformatkamera verwendet. Die Montage ist denkbar einfach. Zuerst wird der magnetische Adapter aufgeschraubt und danach einfach der ND-Filter aufgesetzt. Der Filter hält magnetisch und sitzt bombenfest. Er lässt sich durch Drehen problemlos zwischen ND 2 und ND 32 variieren, so dass er ND 2, ND 4, ND 8, ND 16 und ND 32 ersetzen kann. Naturgemäß ist die Güte dabei nicht ganz so gut wie mit einzelnen ND-Filtern, dafür überzeugen der unkomplizierte Einsatz und sehr ordentliche optische Qualität. Die Farbverschiebungen sind im zu erwartenden Bereich und stellen für mich kein größeres Problem dar. Generell macht das Filterkit einen qualitativ sehr überzeugenden Eindruck. Das Glas ist mehrfach beschichtet und damit ölbeständig, kratzfest und schmutzabweisend. Wasserfest ist der Filter natürlich sowieso.So richtig spielt das magnetische Filtersystem natürlich nur seine Stärken aus, wenn man weitere Filter dieses Systems hat, da man dann die Filter schnell und einfach wechseln kann. SmallRig bietet eine ganze Reihe von magnetischen Filtern an.Interessant für Handyfotografen: dem Filter liegt ein Adapter für Smartphonecages mit M-Mount bei. Da ich kein entsprechendes Case habe, konnte ich den Filter leider nicht mit meinem Handy testen, aber immerhin bietet sich so eine weitere Einsatzmöglichkeit für den nicht ganz billigen Filter. Mit derzeit knapp € 82,- ist das Filterkit ein gutes Stück teurer als Filter anderer Hersteller, doch dafür entschädigen das durchdachte Konzept und die wirklich ordentliche Qualität. Von mir bekommt das Filterkit daher fünf Sterne.

I am an avid smallrig user and own so many of their products I'm ashamed lol.I love everything I've had from the company. So when I seen this filter, I quickly ordered it. Makes my life much easier not having to swap filters when needing a wider aperture. It also includes the parts needed to attach it to the phone cage. great!I don't have the phone cage yet, but could definitely use this 67mm on my lens though.When I opened it up, I simply screwed it into my 100mm macro then went to unscrew it and the actual lens of the filter fell to the ground. What the heck?!??!. Yes, the casing that keeps the 2 lenses (its a VND which works by using two seperate glasses) came apart and the glass just fell to the ground. I hadn't even had my hands on it for an enitre 180 seconds.This may be a one-off as I've never had any issues with smallrig that i recall, but boy would I be embarresed if this actually happened driung a shoot. a non-shoot even. but a paid shoot? smh. I can't believe my smallrig would send this unit out

This is one of those filters you don't know you need them until you have them. The filter has one piece that attaches to your lens or to your phone if you have a compatible case and the filter itself that can be attached to the ring by just placing them together. I am using this filter to take some outdoor photos using my phone with a Neewer case that has capability to mount M filters.Overall, this is a great addition if you like to take outdoor photos with your phone or camera as your can attach/detach the filter quickly.

The filter is easy to use with the magnets seeming pretty strong with the phone mount adapter, which is how I've made use of it. It's also dead simple to use and mess around with too. The case it comes with is useful but a bit basic, with it being my only real complaint. Specifically that it doesn't have enough room to hold either the phone adapter or the lens adapter in it alongside the filter. That's the only complaint I can really say about this, otherwise it's great.

Adjusting the stops are done very smoothly and easily. Pictures still look incredible with this filter on my Fujifilm X-T3. The magnetic force is strong and I feel that it is very secure on the adapter. The hard stop is really convenient and I find myself enjoying the feature when I am in a rush and can get an indication for the minimum and maximum capability of the filter. For the price, you get a very nice quality ND filter that is similar to some others out there that are 2x-3x the price.

Ce filtre ND 2 à ND 32 est livré avec une bague magnétique diamètre 67mm, un adaptateur smartphone et une notice.Ce système magnétique Smallrig est très pratique et prend tout son avantage bien entendu si on possède plusieurs filtres de ce type et idéalement de même diamètre (on peut toujours gérer de poser ce système sur des objectifs de diamètre plus petit via des bagues de conversion.La variation de densité se fait par rotation du filtre qui est composé de deux couches polarisantes.Je n'ai pas pu tester l'adaptation sur smartphone mais le principe de fonctionnement est le même.Le maintien magnétique est suffisant pour une bonne sécurité. On fera juste attention de toujours tourner le filtre dans le sens vissant pour ne pas risquer de finir par dévisser par friction la bague magnétique solidaire de l'objectif.Tout est de qualité, je recommande.

En tant que passionnée de photo, j'ai reçu ce kit de filtre ND variable et je suis vraiment contente de l'avoir.Le système magnétique est super pratique, il rend l'installation et le retrait du filtre très faciles.Il me permet de régler l'exposition avec précision, ce qui est parfait pour obtenir des photos bien équilibrées, même en pleine lumière.L'anneau de filtre se fixe facilement à mes objectifs et à mon téléphone, ce qui est très pratique.La qualité du verre est top, mes photos sont nettes et claires.

I purchased another brands Iphone cage and there was never a good adapter to the correct mount I needed for a proper ND. Not only does this solve my problem but it offers a solution that can be used on my mirrorless as well if I forget or just want to bring one. The addition of the screw on adapter is huge and this is how all brands should handle things. Send me all the options so I can make your kit work.Smallrig is easily my top pick for all things camera gear. If there is something I need and Smallrig doesn't have it I am likely going to hold off as the other brand that plays in the same space/price point just does not seem to have the same selection and quality. Do not go 'New'

Fit my M Mount iPhone case and comes with a threaded 67mm adapter to mount on a lens for your camera. Just enough stops to keep your images clear with an appropriate aperture setting. Helps step up your iPhone photography/videography to the next level. The fact that this does double duty for your mirrorless camera adds value to an otherwise already stellar product. Smallrig is delivering great products across the board and this is no exception.
