I needed an energy monitoring breaker and found this! Absolutely love it that I can configure the breaker to work within my parameters. The price was right on and the build feels good. It works great for my needs!

It is a multiple application protection device that needs to be powered from a standard thermal magnetic breaker. It lacks ground fault feature but for my needs it works fine.

Okay let's start out addressing the gimmicky advertising BS.THIS IS NOT A SMART PRODUCT.Smart devices are designed to connect to other devices, or systems via wifi, Bluetooth, zigbee, zwave etc. This item does not do that. It is a stand alone product that is able to display electrical information. For that reason I will be returning.Beyond that, I thought that the quality/build of this was really good considering the price point. It's solid, and I was able to easily fit 4, 12ga lines in the terminal. Id guess you could prob fit four 10ga.I liked the simple display and I could easily understand what it was showing me without reading instructions. But there is the one negative point. The instructions are very very basic. I've attached pics of it because if you loose them you'll most likely never remember the setup numbers. If your looking for a multifunction stand alone electric monitor/meter you'll really like this device.

I snagged two of these for review and figured I'd throw one on an AC circuit and one on a DC circuit. First off, they are smart in the sense that they are able to display the current... current (ONLY for AC circuits), current voltage, and can be set to trip at different volts or amps. 'Dumb' or 'Old' circuit breakers trip if a condition of over-amperage is realized for a certain amount of time.To be honest, I'm not sure how many people are going to use these for tripping over/under an amount of voltage. However, it is neat that you can set it to any amperage between 1-63a. You can set it to delay tripping for 0.1-10 seconds. There are many different 'smart' features that can be set. It will even reset itself after a certain period of time if you want it to.It's a great 'smart' circuit breaker, as long as you understand it doesn't have an app, or any wireless communication. It's a customizable, digital circuit breaker. If you realize that, it's a really neat and valuable addition to any load center.4/5 stars, thanks!
