Just the right size for the nightstand! Conveniently allows me to keep my gun secure and close by at night!

I saw a burglary taking items from my garage so I grabbed my Shield 40 from this safe. It's very well made and worked perfectly when I needed it to. Mounts discretely, and is large enough to hold my gun plus several magazines. Heavy duty and I can assure you, IT'S RELIABILLE.

Just got this in today and it looks like it will work. I was really wanting something smaller to use under the car seat for one pistol, with a drawer that slides out. That is hard to find in a biometric safe. I can put half my arsenal in this one. LOLAnyway the programming was quick and easy. Like others I wish it had the 0&9 digits I use them a lot for codes. Registered fingerprint with ease. Some have complained about the plug on the front. While it may be a tad inconvenient I understand that all of the electronics are in the drawer. Having a plug in the back would create a wiring nightmare with a huge risk of breaking the connecting wires when the drawer slides in and out, so the front is the best place for it. You don't want those wires breaking at a crucial time.I do wish it had the ability to recharge the batteries when plugged in. I use rechargeable batteries in everything. Speaking of batteries, there is no battery meter on the display. It would be nice to know before the batteries go dead. All in all , its seems to be a sturdy and useful gun safe. I hope UI don't have to come back and change my opinion. LOL

Over all, this very built, very sturdy, thick steel, no one is getting in quickly with a hand tools in a smash and grab. I was able to setup pin and biometric finger scanner and it works decent enough, and opens fast. The locking system is the rear, making it hard to pry open with simple tools. The included security cable is very thick. I attached the cable through my beds headrest, a thief would have to saw through the cable, again this protects against the typical smash and grab, and curious adolescents. There is plenty of room for a full size pistol, mags, wallet, keys...One compliants:Time/Temp/Humidity does not stay on all the time. Without the digital display it screams GUN safe, even under a lamp.I wish the USB power cable was in the rear, it's in the front and when the safe opens the cord will move forward, I guess it's only for emergency power.Overall, this is absolutely worth the money.

Heavy duty, easy to program, very secure safe. I purchased this item because it has a deep storage unit which easily hold revolvers, not just pistols. It can be open with a key, digital code or finger touch. Includes all the hardware to secure the device to a fixed location. Great digital display.

I'm very disapoointed the safe arrived locked with no mention of a default pass code. The AI customer servise was useless and caused me to return a viable safe and order a second one.The safe appears to be well made and sturdy. I returned the first one because I could not open it. I contacted tech support through their link stating the keys were missing and asked how to open the safe. The AI responded I should return the safe due to missing parts. The second safe arrived in the same condition. Locked, with no visible keys.I found another review that listed the default code but it didn't work. By the way, you have to plug in the safe to a USB-C to bring it to life. I started guessing various codes realizing the default code contained 5 digits. I finally stumbled upon 5-4-3-2-1 and it opened. All of the parts, including the keys, were inside. The only absent part is the manual. The directions to program a new code are on the back wall of the drawer. The same method will also program the fingerprint scanner. Hold down the time button for 5 seconds to set the clock.
