These sensors were simple to setup with my existing smart life app.Range seems to be poor and motion needs to be within 6 feet of the sensor. Also, they don’t work well in dark rooms. They function as intended and will alert you if motion, however, the response time is very slow. The alerts are inconsistent, but if the sensor has not triggered recently then they might get an alert you within 6-10 seconds.Any other immediate motions will not be alerted because it seems like the sensor has a delay or resting period between alerts. If I’m lucky, I’ll see two alerts back to back within 1 minute. Other times it will take longer. These are not good for more detailed monitoring since they are too slow and lack consistency.

Sensor was working great for around a month. It disconnected and unable to get it connected again. When attempting to reset the device, I get a solid red light and unable to get it into pairing mode.

It's kind of slow in responding. It can take up from 5 to 10 seconds. Also, brand new batteries lasts about one month only. It needs the Smart Life app. Once configured it will add to Alex app. You can control routines in the Alex app such that it can turn on/off Alexa enabled devices (like lights). Alerts to SMS costs extra. You do see motion records in the record section. SMS should be free but it's not. However, if you turn on Notification on for the Smart Life app it will send notifications to your iPhone. I turned it off cause I get too many alerts during the day as people go in and out of the kitchen. However it's probably good to turn it on when away for a while.

Works great! My dog doesn't whine, bark or scratch to come back inside but he'll come up on the porch and just sit there. This lets me know when he's up on the porch and ready to come in. Was super easy to set up with SmartLife. Turned off the 'no motion' alert. Sends a phone notification and I can customize the notification sound. If you want it to text you, it costs a subscription fee but why the need for a text when it sends the phone notification?

This motion sensor works good, but a bit complex to install. I always worry about 3rd party software monitoring my smart devices, as I feel I loose some privacy in doing so.

This little device works well with Home Assistant’s Tuya integration. It tracks motion and can be adjusted so it doesn’t trigger every time a cat walks by (although it does every once in awhile). It’s smaller than many other PIR sensors but doesn’t lack the features. I don’t know what people are talking about with lack of WiFi; mine works just fine and uses WiFi. I’m using the Tuya Smart app however; these use the Tuya platform and can be connected via Tuya. I’ve got this running on localtuya via Home Assistant.I’m going to grab a few more of them, most likely. Much easier to set up than mmWave sensors, and I can afford to put them in every room I need one. I know similar models can be had cheaper but the Amazon delivery/return is just so much easier.

This is an inexpensive sensor that works as expected. Easy to set up. I used it to detect motion in an enclosed cabinet accessible by our cats through a pet door. When the motion is detected, it turns on our smart LG air filter. Zero litter-pan smells. It's great.

I like the fact that it works on replaceable batteries. Works with Smart Life and Alexa without any problems. My only complaint is it takes 3-6 seconds to activate my lights. I placed it right next to my door in my garage so it turns on my lights prior to entering my house.
