The Compost Sak is constructed of a lightweight, yet extremely durable fabric that will last for years. This rugged fabric is extremely porous containing millions of micro- pores that allow for constant air circulation and drainage of excess moisture. Aeration and water (but not too much) are two of the key components to successful composting. The breathable fabric also speeds up microbial activity, resulting in faster composting. The 100 gallon capacity equals 12 cubic feet of compost. The lightweight Compost Sak requires no anchoring and is easy to move. It folds flat for easy storage when not in use. The large opening is easy to fill, yet the sides can be folded over to close, keeping heat in and rain out. The black color absorbs heat from the sun. 30 inch diameter x 38 inches tall.

The entire concept is good but the plastic top cover is not animal proof. It is made out of the same plastic as the construction plastic garbage bags sold at hardware stores. The second day that I had mine - a hole was gauged out on the plastic top cover by a squirrel or something. You can buy the SMART POT COMPOST bags without the top plastic top covers for $40 less. I bought 3 but returning 1 because I already opened the other two. Just buy the ones without the top covers - it's much less expensive.

just wish there was a way to unload it from the bottom. Other than that, it works very well
