THIS IS HOT A HEAVY DUTY STAND. however, it is used on an auxillary snare, and does its job.

This is perfect for my needs, I wanted something to put my Yamaha electronic drum kit on and it fits exactly where it needs to go. The stand is high quality and adjustable for height, angle and spacing to hold your drum. Very pleased.

I'm docking two stars because of the smell. I almost lost my lunch when, upon opening the box, I was hit with an overpoweringly foul odor emanating from the inside of the tubes which I strongly suspect to be formaldehyde. I can still smell it in the room where I opened the box, despite both box and stand sitting on my back porch.I've had to set it outdoors for now in the hopes that it airs out. If not I'll be asking for a refund from the seller because that's just inexcusable. The stand itself is fine for my needs, sturdy enough to hold up a practice drum pad. I don't know that I'd trust a full snare drum with it, but for the price, it's fine for the pad.Update: After about ten minutes under pressurized water, I've managed to evacuate the worst of the formaldehyde odor in the tube. Still working on the grips and feet, but I'm giving back one star because, once I got it set up with my Evans practice pad, and got everything tightened, it actually feels pretty stable.Don't get me wrong. It's still a cheap stand, and I stand by my "Would not use with a real snare" comment, but with a sturdy practice pad? It gets the job done.

Bought this to use as a third TOM holder but its' too short to stick up behind two toms in a line. However, I used it for my Snare and fixed my tom issue with the old snare holder. this is an awesome good quality snare drum holder. If you are in a sitting position it will work fine!

This drum stand is good quality for the price. It's a little cheaply made, but you usually get what you pay for. I use it to hold my electronic Yamaha DD-65 drum set. You need a snare drum stand for that kit. It has been good for me. Does fine with my set. I would recommend this snare drum stand to others.

Nice quality. Sturdy, lightweight and quite reasonably price. I would purchase again and would also recommend. The drum fits really well on the stand. The stand can be used for other things too.. I used it to set my tabletop fan on it ..

Sorry, but this is as far from "professional quality" as you can get. My husband has been a professional drummer for 40 years. He bought this stand to hold a vintage tom he was adding to one of his kits. (Didn't want to harm its vintage value by drilling holes for a new mount.)The stand is weak, rickety, loose, and at its highest point it's still lower than most professional stands. It would have been too low and shaky for my husband even if used as a snare drum holder. For the tom it just doesn't work at all. We're sending it back for a refund today. Instead of this, hubby's using an old snare basket holder mounted on a DW cymbal stand for the tom.
