Good for beginner, or having as a backup. The drum stick holder comes in handy. The drumsticks could be better, but it depends on how hard you hit.

This snare drum stand is on the shorter side, so it is for seated use only. Beyond the height limitations, the stand holds a drum well and feels sturdy. It is a good value for the price.

Quality and sturdy stand. Easy to assemble . Adjust to different drum sizes.

Nothing new and exciting here, just a very basic snare drum stand. Of course it's adjustable, both the height and the angle. Obviously this is a budget snare stand so it uses thinner gauge single braced middle. However, it works fine, it's sturdy enough, especially for a home practice kit. I don't know how long it would last on the road, probably for a little while, but for that purpose I would definitely get something heavier duty. for the price though, you can't go wrong.

This is certainly not a heavy duty stand, but it's also not a heavy duty price. It's a decent lightweight / light duty stand for a beginner at this price.Out of the box, the nylon bushings (where the wing nuts tighten) hold well, but will eventually fail. Frequent adjustments or tear-down setup of this stand will likely cause to happen earlier rather than later. The plastic knob to adjust the width of the stand is also a cheap / weak element. The legs are technically double-braced, but again, are not heavy duty. They aren't flimsy, per se, but they're obviously in the beginner class or price range. What else - it comes with a cheap pair of just okay sticks that are not finished, and even appear to not be sanded, so they likely won't last any player for very long. The stick bag and corresponding bracket are surprisingly nice, and a helpful extra.

I am a very new drummer and am just learning my way around the gear. I was using a practice pad for about a year just set up on my coffee table until recently where I got my first pad stand. I was very excited to be able to practice while standing up and the ability to move it around was great. However, I learned my first lesson about drum stands. After about a week of using the stand the main adjustment clamp just broke making the whole stand useless until I can find or make some solution. In the meantime, I saw this stand pop up and I had the opportunity to try it out. Fist of all, all the hardware is metal; all metal pieces, all metal connectors, and all metal adjustment knobs. (the other one had hard plastic connectors that obviously were not that good). This one does not extend high enough to stand up but had good adjustment for head position and angle, so I had to find a good sitting option to use it. Not the end of the world. The primary reason I like this one so much better than the previous (besides not breaking immediately) is that is will work for a regular snare drum as well as a practice pad (the other did not, just a screw in head for the pad). When the time comes to start buying actual drums, this will save me the need of buying a new snare stand, so that's cool.It functions and adjusts easily, seems pretty sturdy (so far), and the assembly was very easy (maybe two minutes, including pulling it out of the packaging.)Like I said, I am just a beginner, not an expert. I'm sure there are better stands out there but maybe not for the price of this one, so if you are a beginner like me, this may be a really good place for you to start.

While I would not use this snare drum stand in my regular gigging kit setup, for an extra side snare, practice pad, etc., it is totally fine and a pretty darn good deal at under 30 bucks. Not crazy about the mechanism for tightening the snare arms, it's kind of a big plastic bushing, but it works fine to tighten the arms around the drum or pad and keep it nicely in place. I am currently using it for an electronic mesh pad as a side accent drum and, while I would like it to go just a bit higher, I can't knock it for not, because it goes high enough for probably any snare, except maybe a thin piccolo snare drum, which might sit too low.The "extras" are fine but nothing to write home about. The sticks are garbage - too light (the wood feels like it will break if you look at it funny) and unbalanced for anything other than a rank beginner. The stick holder is a nylon bag around a metal frame and it works fine, except that it will not attach to a stand as thin as this snare stand, but it works great on a high-hat stand or other accessory. I have a Vic Firth stick holder, but I'll use this one for water bottles or on my practice kit.For a beginning kit or an extra drum or practice pad, this is a good stand at a pretty nice price.
