The hedgehog design is adorable and a fun little addition to my dog’s toy collection. It's definitely small, which is good for my little guy. The size is about 12x7 inches, so it fits nicely in his crate or on the floor without taking up too much space. It’s also machine washable, which is a must since it’s fabric that comes into contact with dog food.I sprinkled some kibbles in the little folds and crevices, and my dog started digging around right away. He had to work a bit to find all the pieces, which was a good mental stimulation for him and he was also intrigued by the sound of the crinkle paper inside. The only negative things is that this mat has absolutely zero grip. It slides all over the floor, especially on my hardwood. You would need to put it on a rug or maybe adding some non slip grips to the bottom.Overall, it’s a decent snuffle mat for small dogs and does what it's supposed to do. It slows down my dog's eating and provides mental stimulation. If you have a small dog who eats too fast or needs some mental enrichment, give this snuffle mat a try.

My rabbit loves this snuffle mat. I sprinkle her a treat on top and she uses this mat for foraging.
