The clear version won’t hold a charge. Oddly the same brand I have elsewhere but a different color, the white solid and black solid, work perfectly and hold a charge.I assumed the same brand would work.

Wir haben den Seifenspender jetzt schon über 1 Jahr in Betrieb und er funktioniert bisher tadellos, die Schhaumseife kann man selbst mit herkömmlicher Seife und Wasser anmischen, gut durchrühren und schon hält die Seife 5 mal so lange.Leider ist mir der Seifenbehälter beim Reinigen kaputt gegangen (er verträgt wohl kein kochendes Wasser zur Desinfektion 😅).Ich habe den Verkäufer um Ersatz gefragt, den gab es aber leider nicht, dafür ist er mir mit einer Vergünstigung für einen neuen Seifenspender entgegengekommen, beim neuen ist die Pumpe jetzt noch leiser als die alte, Funktion ist die selbe, für den Preis mehr als in Ordnung, gerne wieder.

I really enjoyed this product when I got it. I have filled it up multiple times and charged it twice. After about 6 months it started sounding a little louder and there wasn't much soap coming out. I followed the steps on how to clean it and everything like that, but my guess is the pump inside broke. I reached out to their customer service because they claimed 12 months support. That was days ago and I haven't heard anything back. I'll look for a different brand whenever I replace this, which is a shame because I liked the product and tried to give them a chance to make this right. Hopefully they still reach out to me.*EditThey found my email and sent a replacement. I am now one week in to being happy with the product again. I changed my star level back to good once the replacement arrived.

Better than other similar products:We bought a few of these for the house, one in every bathroom. Initially, I bought a variety from other brands that were similar but priced cheaper- however I ended up returning the others after seeing this one because even though they were cheaper they also felt/looked cheap in person. This one has a nice weight to it, looks really elegant, and works well. I particularly love that you can control the volume of soap based on how low you hold your hand.Good customer service: I had one that for some reason stopped holding a charge two weeks in even though the others were fine. I contacted the company and they easily replaced it for free, even following up a few weeks later to see if the new one worked without issue.Cons: Only issue is now my littles wave their hands under all soap dispensers at friend’s houses thinking soap will come out.

Update: 1 year in and it still works like a charm. Battery live seems quite good (I think i may have charged it a couple of times since last thanksgiving. Still recommend this device. For those that had them stop working within months, they should contact Laopao. IME, their CS is good.I wrote a review for an older version of this device and the company reaxhed out to me (unexpectedly) and determined it was defective and sent me a new one. Their customer service is top notch and they clearly stand behind their products. I believe you can buy their foaming dispensers with confidence.This model (regardless of color) is quite nice. It dispenses to different amounts, depending on where you hand is. The dispenser itself has some heft and looks nice. I have both a white and brown one and both are the same quality.I’m not an expert on all the dispensers out there, but I’d highly recommend this dispenser and Laopao.

LAOPAO offers a number of different soap dispensers: removable battery powered or rechargeable; liquid soap or foaming soap... so you should be really careful to read each of the item's descriptions thoroughly because they are not interchangeable when it comes to the soap you want to use.The one that I got was the Rechargeable Foaming Soap Automatic Dispenser as I wanted to reduce the amount of waste (cost & environmental) that comes from liquid soap. The dispenser "seems" big when you take it out of the well packaged box, but once you set it up, it's a reasonable size on your vanity or sink.WHAT I LOVE:- Soap reservoir is almost exactly 10 ounces (which is what tablet refills like Blueland are designed for)- You can vary the amount of soap dispensed by changing the distance you put your hand under the sensor (there's discreet illustrations on the unit as a guide)- Rarely, if ever, does it activate accidentally- Power button (top) and blue "nightlight" (reservoir) both turn on when dispensing soap- EXCELLENT email customer service! I suspect support is based in China, so I generally got a prompt response overnight. Alicia was friendly, courteous, and responsive. I was pleasantly surprised and happy to report the company has wonderful customer service.COULD BE BETTER:- I wish the LED lights could stay on for 20 seconds as a guide for recommended hand washing- LED lights currently stay on for only 10 seconds- Product descriptions could be clearer, but that could be AmazonNOT YET KNOWN:- I don't yet know how long the rechargeable battery lasts.- I bought 2 units separately. I fully charged one before use. And then, I hastily just filled the second without charging, just so I could get it setup. I guess I'll find out which one stops working first and for how long it lasts.- I will try to remember to come back and report on the battery life.WISH LIST:- Amazon Alexa integration so it can trigger a "hand washing" song (20 seconds) to an Echo Dot!*This review is unbiased and not compensated.
