I asked for a bulk tank adapter from another vendor for Christmas. That vendor's included valve was a bit "feisty" compared to a genuine tank - It required a lot of pressure from a Drinkmate to open the valve, and once it flowed, it flowed WAY too much CO2.I ordered this and screwed in the valve from my Drinkmate's included CO2 canister, then connected the remainder of my existing bulk tank adapter's setup to this. The quick-connect fittings are fully compatible, and now my bulk tank setup behaves just like an original Drinkmate canister.The only challenge was getting the valve assembly off of the old Drinkmate canister - but that is not this vendor's problem. (For others: A Harbor Freight strap wrench is your friend for holding the main canister body!)

I bought the "Terra Machine Co2 Adapter Quick Connector Stainless Steel Hose", and it works wonderfully.I had trouble with the "Conversion Adapter" which leaked badly. Could not get it to seal!I contacted the Seller, and she was great. She even responded to messages while on Holiday. I returned the Conversion Adapter and Bought the Terra Adapter. I did not need a new hose but in the end, it was a good value and best of all it works.

I have a larger tank that I got for my Sodastream. The hose kit I purchased came with its own valve that didn’t quite work like the original. Sometimes the needle valve would constantly shoot CO2 through the nozzle even when the machine wasn’t activated to carbonate. This is a problem with the aftermarket valves and slight differences in measurements of the needle inside of them. This adaptor lets you use the original valve found on top of all official Sodastream CO2 tanks. Now my Sodastream acts just like it did before with an official bottle, but now I’m saving money with my larger tank. Just make sure to assemble it with the metal ring and new o-ring as I do in my picture. I only had to hand tighten the pieces together and into the machine. Do not try to reuse the old o-ring from the original CO2 tank. I got in a hurry and tried it. It lasted 1 full cycle.
