Colors are great for color coding my project Ethernet cables. I would like them better if they were made out of shrink wrap material so you make them fit the Ethernet connector better. Still would recommend though

I've been using these when repairing damaged connectors that get moved around quite a bit for multiple rooms and work areas. All black were ordered since I did not need to use any specific colors to match equipment in a rack or label anything. Black seemed like the best fit to go with any color type cable. I'm mostly using these when repairing cables, mostly indoor CAT5e/CAT6 UTP, and the rare occasion of creating a cable from leftovers. The material is not overly soft or rigid. These were easy to slide over most connectors and stay in place. Pressing down on the clip is not too difficult. These will save me from having to do quite a few repeat repairs or replacements in the future. Great value. Saved these to re-order, when needed.

Slide onto my Cat6 cable easily without leaving excessive space round the cable. Not a perfect color match for my colored connectors, but close enough. Will also aid to identify my all-the-same shielded connectors. Finally being able to code cables at my switches without having to spin around printed labels so I can see them in a dark cabinet will be the nuts.

These are so rigid! If you're never going to unplug them, I guess these would be great! Having assorted colors so you can identify cables by color is great too. But they don't work if you need to unplug, they are too rigid to allow it (unless your hands are wickedly strong and impurvious to pain).I have arthritis, these are excruciating to attempt to unplug them, and for all the pain, I just cannot squeeze to unplug them. I have to use pliers to get them undone!
