I got this for my solar install and these were perfect. They are very think and great quality. I would buy plenty more as these are must haves for solar installs. The price is well under what a professional company would charge for a less reliable product. Great cables

The cord quality is very nice, built very well. This is a good one for outdoors for running your solar panels into your house or into your camper or trailer or whatever you might have good value for the money. They look nice, easy to use and very functional. I would recommend these to anyone who's looking for solar cables

This is high quality 2 wire, tinned copper, 10 gauge wire cable with a 30 year life expectancy. The exterior jacket is rated to above 375 degrees F. So the desert, rooftop, or ground connections shouldn't be an issue with heat. The connectors are good quality MC4 type common solar connectors. One end of the cable has pre installed connectors while the other end is bare. This is so you can cut to size or to insert the bare end into terminals or other connectors.This cable is pretty high quality and certainly professional grade. However it is relatively inexpensive for what you get and you're truly better off with higher quality materials. You'll also receive two MC4 connectors in case you just want to make an extension cable. And you'll get two hook and loop straps to go around your coiled cable.The big seller for me is that this is a 2 wire cable and is superior for wire management. Rather than have single conductors getting coiled and tangled up, this has the two wires molded together for a much neater installation. Those wire are also color coded red and black so there is no guessing as to what you have in your hand when making connections. For me the neatness factor alone makes this cable worth the price.I recommend this 2 wire cable for many reasons. Neatness and quality are two of the top reasons. Buy this, you won't be disappointed.

This review is for the 20 foot 10 AWG variant.As with other Bateria products I've purchased, this is an excellent solar power system accessory. I ordered this particular cable because I needed to cut the cable length a bit and didn't want to waste a pair of MC4 connectors.Positive attributes to this set include: (1) positive and negative wires are clearly marked as red and black, (2) both conductors bonded together for neater cable management, (3) MC4 connectors are factory installed on one end and bare wire on the other for ease of installing an alternate type of connector or trimming cable to desired length, (4) 2 extra MC4 connectors included.Well designed and manufactured solar power cable and easy to recommend.

They have a little memory to them, but that is manageable. My favorite feature is that they are joined along their length for easier and cleaner cable management. Of course, it would be a simple matter to zip tie every 4 feet or so to get the same effect for a ten dollar savings.

This solar cable extension set came with a 10 gauge 20 foot wire, with MC4 connectors pre-installed on one end. The other end does not have a connector, but a set of MC4 connectors are included for you to crimp on after cutting the wire to the desired length. The set also came with a Velcro strap for cable organization or storage.Keep in mind that you will need a MC4 crimping tool to add the included connector ends to the wire. Assuming you have a crimper, this is an excellent set. The included MC4 connector was installed easily and makes a good/solid connection.The cable has a double insulation jacket, and the wire has a "6 MM" marking (meaning 10 gauge wire).A lot of sellers offer good quality 10 gauge solar cable, but I like this specific brand for the following reasons:- These solar cable sets typically come with a red and a black cable. Having a separate fully red cable is an eyesore, but necessary so you can tell the polarity. I like that this cable is mostly black, but still has a red "stripe" to identify the positive cable side.- I have multiple solar arrays, and they all feed into the same area. This means that I have quite a few "red and black" cables. If I am not careful, I could accidently plug in a red cable from one array, and a black cable from another. With this set, the cables are joined together (but can be pulled apart as needed). Keeping the cables joined allows me to easily identify the red and black cable from a specific array. Previously, I used electrical tape to keep the two wires together, but it looked much less professional.Overall really like these cables, highly recommend!

Overall this is a nice cable and works great to allow me to get solar from my panels to my power stations in my garage. Thick gauge. My critiques are that the MC4 connectors used feel low quality and are difficult to disconnect. Most of the other MC4s I have, have tabs on the side to help release the locking tabs to make disconnecting easier. Also the male/female connectors are backwards and don't match up to my solar panels correctly based on the wire coloring. I had to use a multimeter to check this and confirm that they are in fact swapped. I will likely cut the connectors off and put on new MC4s so the polarity is correct.
