This is a nice idea - floats around and distributes the chlorine (tabs) while providing a cool light at night.I bought two - one for my son's pool as well. I deducted a star because the outside plastic has a tendency to fog up, requiring it be wiped off. Must be a problem with the seal. The one my son has doesn't have this issue.

Let me first start off with the fact that I purchased this product due to my old chlorinator being broken by my children. I enjoy the easy access to input pucks. And the price is good.The downfall of this is the light. With a full day of sun in Texas it will only stay lit for maybe 1 hour after sundown. It is a nice addition to the pool as it does not take up too much room. But my wife and I were hoping to have the life last a few hours.I've had it in the pool for several months and the top plastic piece has began to yellow and there are some stain buildups on the interior of the light. I question the long-term durability, however living in Texas, many things outside do not last long. I will continue to use it as a chlorinator first and foremost. But I do not expect the light to last more than a few more months.

It is beautiful in the pool and holds 3 chlorine tablets, however only lights up initially 3-4 hours into the night and after about a week of a full solar charge last through the night, highly recommend!

We recently installed a pool heater and needed an alternate method for our chlorine. Float is adjustable and the solar light at night is very nice. We have two floating during the summer.

The brightness of the light did great for night swims and ambience. It stays upright and the functionality is great with ample space for chlorine tablets. Does not need refilled as often. Great value for the money. Stays lit most of the night.
