1 . There is a tab on the back of light, please remove it before charging, then the solar panel can get recharged during the day, and lights can turn on automatically at night.
2 . As the charging effect of the solar panel is depended on the sunlight, the LED light time is affected by weather, seasons, places, etc.
3 . Fully charged the solar panel under sunlight for 12 hours at the first time use.
4 . Please cover the solar panel if you want it light up at daylight.
5 . It is WATERPROOF IP44, and can still use during rain and snow, but please avoid soaking in water for a long time.
6 . Please keep the panel clean and put it directly in the sun to get enough solar energy to charge.
7. Make sure there is no strong light source around the solar panel at night.

The fixture fits nicely on a 4 x 4 post. It has a quality appearance and the warm light accents our deck entrance nicely. The solar panel functions well and the battery life is very good.

They were just a little "fragile" but handle with care and they will be fine. Great light for posts on front porch.

Slipped right over 4x4 post. A couple fit tight and probably wouldn't need to be screwed on. They lit right up once the sun went down. They look real nice!!

I thought they were dusk till dawn lights. They're not. On full sunny day charge they last about tree hours. They are also cheaply made plastic. I do not recommend buying them. I contacted customer service with a question, was there a longer life battery I could install but got no response.

They look attractive, at least initially, like actual brushed copper. They weigh almost nothing so they have to be plastic. Only needed to install two, so I put the other two away. Fit well on 3.5"x 3.5" post.Following day - one doesnt work. Replaced it and the replacement stopped working also in one day. The next day the next replacement stopped. 3 of 4 have failed in less than one week. It was sunny every day; no rain either day. Checked battery. Firmly seated. Took one of the other two out and put it on. But failing after one day, in beautiful fall weather, merits no more than one star.
