Installed this 25W panel to augment the 10W solar panel on a Ghost gate opener. Measured unloaded voltage to ensure it matched that of the OEM panel. Connected it in parallel without using the battery monitor control (just like the Ghost panel was/is set up). So far everything is working great. The only thing I could see improvement on are the wires, they should have a UV protected sleeve over them to protect the insulation a bit more.

Lasted a month and then wouldn't work.I don't recommend this product. And when it stops working it's too late to return it... I feel slightly ripped off if not totally

Good solar panel. Built a solar powered battery box to power trail camera. Just a couple weeks use so far but battery keeping good charge. Already been through a snow storm with over 5 inches of snow. A couple of rough thunder storms. And over 80° sunny days. Weather changes quickly in Georgia. Very pleased with this panel.

This solar charger does the job. I tested it at an output of approximately 14v and it kept my tractor charged during below freezing temperatures. I tried it on a dead garden tractor battery and it indicated that it had charged the battery, but it didn't. However, it was only on the small tractor for 2 days. I like the length of the cables provided. There is a cable running from the solar panel that is the longest, then a short cable from the control unit that connects to panel. The other side of the controller has the cables that connect to the battery. The panel comes with a metal stand that is screwed on (screws provided) which provided stability to keep the panel upright during some very windy conditions. Good quality, good value and it even charges on cloudy days.

Never used a solar solution before but I decided to try a solar solution to safely charge and maintain my waverunners so that I would never have to worry about a last minute ride.in fear of a dead battery. I ordered 2 and each one took 15 minutes to install and maybe 10 minutes to neatly tuck away wires. Let me say I know that one ski was almost completely dead and the other at around 50% .once connected u get a simple charging light..we'll this afternoon both Green lights that indicate fully charged batteries came on and can't believe it was that simple and most importantly a safe way to charge and maintain batteries without have to lug a charger out on the dock to sit all day....Love these!

The directions that were given in the package and the straightforward layout of this solar charger made the process of setting it up quite simple. In a matter of minutes, I was able to put it safely on the dashboard of my car, where it was able to absorb the UV rays of the sun and charge my battery in an exceptionally efficient manner. This solar powerhouse ensures that my battery is always fully charged and ready for action, regardless of whether I am going on a cross-country journey, going camping for the weekend, or just doing errands around town. This gadget harnesses the power of the sun, giving a dependable and environmentally responsible answer to the problem of battery maintenance. It eliminates the need to worry about dead batteries or the trouble of using regular chargers.

This charger has a very nice and convenient feature, unlike my other solar panel controllers this one from SOLPERK does not actually use any power from the battery, the red and green LED lights are powered strictly by the solar panel, likewise the regulator does not draw from the battery even at night, just like the regulator in a cars alternator, this means that this is the first solar battery charger that I can leave connected to my battery overnight and for days on end to protect them from sulphation and keeping them fully charged, batteries are very expensive, this charger is not.Because the solar panel is only 15 watts it really charges and maintains batteries well, that is, that there is more time involved saturating the battery without overcharging it, charging stops when a very safe voltage of 14.2 is reached and the red and green LED lights let you know that it's charging and when it's fully charged, all automatically so there is never a need to disconnect it from the battery. The kit also comes with a 12 volt lighter plug, this is handy if your car has an outlet that is powered with the key off, the solar panel can be placed inside the car, the panel comes with a nice adjustable stand, something my other ones don't have. The maximum current for this charger is 0.84 amps (840 milliamps) and also comes with screws, washers, and wall plugs if you want to mount it, as well as the alligator clips and bolt-on eyelets to connect to the battery to make it plug & play if you will. I recommend this one.
