For the price, excellent. They are attached to the ceiling of the boat so weight was considered. Great sound for the weight

I bought these speakers to replace my original boat speakers. They were a little higher wattage than my original Sony speakers, and they fit perfectly and have great sound.

I bought these to install into my RV that has the speakers on the outside of the front of the RV and they sound amazing. They have really good bass and treble. They have been working perfectcly. Definitely recommended. Would buy again.

The exact match to replace the speakers in our 2006 sailboat. We tried other, newer brands, but they were all too big behind the speaker front to fit in the weatherproof backing. These fit just right!

My experience is similar to others. I don't listen to load music and after 2 years 2 of the 4 speakers (2 in ceiling 2 on sides) began to distort. Seems they have a serious quality problem. I bought these as the screw holes would match. Now I'm replacing them with different speakers. The Sony's really are crap.

Outdoor speakers are expensive. But these marine speakers, which have a wonderful sound, are great value and highly recommended. At such a reasonable price I was not expecting too much, but I have connected them to the second zone of my AV system to play outside (attached to the eaves of my house) and am amazed. Their is so little difference between the sound from these diminutive speakers and that from my £1,200 Monitor Audio RX8's inside that I was shocked. Don't buy expensive garden speakers, just attach these in a suitable place or even build a simple cabinet & you will enjoy wonderful outdoor sound for many summers ahead.

the sound quality did not seem as good as expected and the factory speakers in my Bayliner boat sounded better than these Sony's did.

I ordered these speakers to install on the outside of my motor home, but by the time I received them, I had decided to go with a different option. I contacted Amazon to return the speakers (shipping at my expense), and was informed that Amazon cannot accept these back because they are a hazardous material. The reality is that the speakers have magnets (Duh!) and cannot be shipped by air as stated on the package I received. They are not a personal chemical or bio hazard. When I chatted with Amazon about this, they suggested that I read the product page on the website, paying attention to any return limitations. When I did this, I found no mention whatsoever that the units were a hazard and cannot be returned. Amazon reviewed the page and came to the same conclusion. In the end, Amazon did resolve this issue in a way that was beneficial to me, so for that, I am pleased. In the end, I did install the speakers in my motor home and I am quite pleased with the quality of the speakers and the sound.
