I expected a little better quality from these tools. I used so far two of them, the straight one and the one with the small bend (I have not used yet the swan neck tool). The first thing that disappointed me was that they lose sharpness very easy. The second thing was that the one with the small bend, when I began to use it in a Christmas ornament, the shaft would rotate within the handle, so I guess I will have to remove it and glue it inside or devise some sort of screw system to fix the shaft in its hole to avoid such rotation. Pity because the size and shape of the tools is perfect for doing the inside of small projects.

These three hollow form tools make a nice addition to your mini wood turning kit. Although I haven't used them as often as I would like, so far they seem to work quite well. I plan on turning a few more mini hollow forms this next week sooo will give a better test then and write a more detailed follow up to this critique... In the meantime, I certainly recommend this set to other mini hollow-form turners.
