This had a lot of potential, but definitely falls a bit short of my expectations. I was interested in these for myself and my husband as a way to encourage us to do our estate planning- it's not a fun chore, and I liked the humor this brought to it.The sections overall are pretty decent. I think there are some things that are too repetitive, but you can always scratch out headers to change them. It provides a good guide for things you should be thinking about, so it does it's non there. As for the quality, it's actually pretty poor. I've never felt thinner paper in a book like this. You have to be careful turning the pages. It's spiral bound with cheap plastic too. As some other reviewers mentioned, pages are out of order, and some even printed upside down.I've seen this for about the same price from other websites. I may buy a second one from somewhere else to compare quality. I'll use this, but it's definitely not giving great value for the money.

The cover to this end of life planner is hilarious. It's my kind of sense of humor. But the interior is as serious as can be. There are sections to include a will, funeral preferences and directions for burial. That last section includes cremation, organ donation and more. It is definitely a workbook that I need to start working on. Not because I am planning on leaving anytime soon. But if you have a spouse, children or loved ones you don't wish to further burden after you have passed, doing anything to make the mourning process easier is a further action of love after your final breath. My one complaint about this planner is that the cover is pretty flimsy. It is thinner than the cover of a standard spiral notebook. But the content is worthwhile.

The book I received was TERRIBLE.I was filling it out and encountered whole sections with UPSIDE DOWN pages! Also, there were repeating sections of Topics completely out of place. This book is a quality control disaster. The book I received is UNUSABLE.(As a retired printing company owner, I know what happened… but there’s no excuse).

This is the task that nobody wants to do. Nobody wants to think about their mortality and planning for that eventual day. Do yourself and your loved one a HUGE favor and start documenting all of this important information. As the child of aging parents and a single individual, it is important as a family to start getting organized both with my parents and myself. To start, the first page clearly reminds users that this is not legally binding. Instead I think it is great resource for helping you to think about and document all of the important things that will greatly help your loved ones with difficult decisions and knowing all of the important information. Most of the pages are for recording various types of information (contacts, account details, passwords, policy information, etc.), but there are a few that are guided questions for you to answer (I do not want to be on a breathing machine, I do not want to die at home, I want to be pain free, etc.). While not extensive, it looks like a great starting place to record your wishes. There is a section that is labeled “Recommendations for my Funeral”, but unlike some of the other sections, it is just blank pages you can fill with whatever you want. Other organizers like this I have seen are more guided with specific questions (burial vs cremation, prepaid funeral arrangements, hymns they love, etc.).The paper itself is thin, I would worry about some inks bleeding thru. The pages were a little stuck together, although I mostly only needed to gently pull them apart. A few started to tear. At least one page in the book had one side printed upside down. My intent, even before I got this delivered was to use it as a guide for a document I’ll be creating in a digital format. Having a physical copy was never in my plans, although I likely will print out a copy to keep at home as additional back-up to providing electronic copies to my loved ones.I think this is a solid product at a good price and I do like the “workbook” nature of the book. I would recommend you also look for other similar books and workbooks to get a broader inventory of questions and information to document, but this is reasonable comprehensive.Other recommendations: Research what actual legal binding documents you need (will, power of attorney, healthcare directive, etc.). Schedule an annual update of this information. Lots of these things (accounts, passwords, contact info, etc.) will be out of date.Your loved ones will thank you. And you will thank yourself for helping your loved ones with gathering this information while they are still able to provide it directly.

The internals of the book and what’s in it are exactly as I expected HOWEVER, upon receiving the item, the cover was all bent and damaged. While the book wasn’t ripped part, the cover and edges were all dented and bent like it was just thrown around (most likely was in the process). Other than this, the book itself is just what I ordered.

I think the idea behind this notebook is a good one! A couple of things I noticed right off, see pics. The inside page is different than what was advertised. The F word is NOT in the notebook as it is shown in the description. That was one of the main reasons I ordered it so that was a bit disappointing. You do have plenty of room to write it in if you wanted too. Also I did find a page printed upside down, same as many others previously noted. The paper is rather thin so be careful using ink, gel pens or markers. There are a lot of categories and more than enough room to list what most people will need. Honestly, if you have that many cars, properties, etc. you are probably enlisting the help of a trust attorney and not filling out this notebook!Personally, I think (I hope) my kids will get a kick out of this when I kick it! I intend to keep this light hearted and let them know I was thinking about them as I filled this out. It will be an immediate help to them while they get through all the other legal stuff. I recommend something like this for most people. This one may not be the best out there but for 10 bucks it's not bad.
