My first try and the food turned out amazing. I cooked both steaks and lobster tails in the Sous Vide, then finished them on the grill. I'm pleased I made this purchase.

My new way to cook the best steak I have ever had. Works well. Heats to the set point quickly and maintains temp efficiently. Easy to operate.

All in all the unit works well, very convenient, runs quiet. Compact thoughtful design, all in one unit. Lid seals in the heat. Unit does run 2-3 degrees higher than the display, other than that this is the perfect sous vide starter for me. Would I but this again, for the price point, good overall design/features and first venture into sous vide- yes. I’ll likely go to a stock pot setup for my next purchase as I’d really like to be able to do steaks for 8+ people. This 8 litre unit will do 4-5 steaks.

I like that this has racks for small portions, and can take it out for large portions. The controls are very easy to understand.

Although it's a little small, I've managed to cook burgers, corn on the cob, and a few other things to perfection. It's very easy to use. I would prefer it to be a little deeper and wider.

I am very pleased with this appliance. It has a very large capacity and comes with racks to make it easy to keep the food apart to ensure even cooking for everything. Bonus that it shuts itself off if the water level gets down too far which is very helpful to allow you to let it run all day while I'm at work. This is much easier to clean up after use than our older one which had the balls floating on the top to maintain the temperature. It's very easy to maintain temperature thanks to the see through lid and just wipe it dry and it's ready for storage again.

We have used one of the stick style Sous Vide cookers before, but never a unit like this. There is a lot to like about this unit... it is simple to use, and the included instructions are adequate. You can really zero in on the temperature you need, and the magnetic water circulation system keeps the cooking temperature uniform.One great thing about a Sous Vide cooker is there is no mess to clean up. You just dump out the water and dry the machine.While this cooker is decently large (8 quarts), it is a little snug for a roast or other large piece of meat.There are heat warnings on the exterior of the cooker, but the outside really doesn’t get hot. The lid does a good job of holding the steam in. Since you will probably be cooking for many hours, it is important to not lose any water.Since this is not a name brand, there is very little information out there on durability. I trust this will last for many years. Overall, our experience so far has been good.

We have had sous vide in restaurants and I was looking to try it at home. I ordered the #spoonlemon Sous Vide Cooker to test if I could have restaurant quality fish and steak. The first cut of meat we tried was sirloin steaks. We have a vacuum sealer at home and I was able to vacuum seal each piece of steak. I did put some dry rub on before vacuum sealing. The sous vide maker is so simple to use. Just set your temp and how long you want the food to cook for. The first try I let the meat cook for 90 minutes then quickly seared both sides on the grill. The meat was out of this world great! Then we tried fish. We just let it cook and did not sear after it was cooked. Clean-up is a breeze. Just dump out the water and dry the machine. For pouring out the water having handle on the sides of the appliance would be a nice to have. Having no handles doesn’t take away from the quality of this appliance. This is a great addition to my collection of kitchen appliances. I highly recommend it and think it would make a great gift.
