Your cart is empty.These low mount alternator brackets mount common Delco alternators below the frost plug at the left front corner (driver's side) of your small block Fits Chevy using bolt holes next to the timing cover. They are ideal for custom builds, street rods, and tube chassis cars that do not have power steering and work with short ('55-'68 S/B Fits Chevy) water pumps. These brackets will support a standard full-size GM alternator which is sold separately. Includes bracket, bolts and spacers. Mounts common Delco alternators below frost plug. I replaced the alternator bracket on my older model Chevy 350 because a mounting bolt broke. I had to drill it out and rethread the block. The existing bracket was just a single arm coming off of the block. It was on the engine when I got it. I have to assume that vibration over the years caused the bolt to break. I ordered this bracket to minimize any vibration caused by the alternator. I have had it on for over two years with no problems. I recommend this bracket.

Does not fit a C3 Corvette.Referring to the picture, I was able to screw the top bolt into the engine block (327 Cu In).You can see that the bracket hits the framework before the lower bolt can swing into place and screw in the block.The threads on the lower bolt are visible and laying against the side of the block and the bottom of the bracket is laying on the framework.The bracket hits the frame before the lower bolt can swing into place and reach the threaded hole in the engine block.

Used it on a 46 chevy panel. Didnt have enough room to use a regular set up, but this worked perfect. Very happy with product would use again and i also would reccomend.
